Ideal for my swing-away hitch carrier project! I mounted it with some reinforcement aluminum bars to the swing out arm of my hitch-mounted carrier on my long bed pickup mini camper. Great way to haul fuel and propane outside of the camper! Was easy to work with and, using stainless lock nuts and bolts, ended up with very sturdy mounted exterior carrier box!

These are pretty nice. No holder to secure fuel cells or gas cans to these. Had to fabricate those. They should come with for the price. Not safe to use the way they come

I travel the USA so I needed something Sturdy and Secure for my gas cans.This holder is Perfect! I have already taken it over 10,000 miles on all kinds of roads, including "bumpy" dirt roads and all is well!I added More Security by putting a chain through the handles of the gas cans and putting a lock at Both Ends to keep from being lifted out.The holder itself I used self tap bolts both in the bottom and one side to keep it from moving and unable to lift the whole thing out.

I almost bought the VP racing version of this fuel holder since it was significantly cheaper but then I read the reviews and saw the other one didn't have a back or a bottom. I almost missed it since it doesn't say anywhere that it's only 3 sheets of aluminum (except the reviews) and one would assume that it has both since its primary function is to store fuel containers. I'm glad I picked this one because I'm sure it's much heavier duty being diamond plate and it's a complete boxed unit with a base. Much much better value.
