I bought this mat as others had not lasted long. Although it was slightly more expensive it is well worth the difference. It is well marked, I particularly liked the diagonal lines and the protractor for cutting angles. It is sturdy, clearly printed on both sides and heals well.

Solid, strong, as advertised. Was worried it may be thin and not actually protect, but it's a tough item. Very happy.

Not exactly sure where the "self healing" thing is, still it kinda works, but it can also slip about a fair bit.

As in the title, while functional, the product feels thin, flimsy, slips around on my desk, and overall feels and smells quite cheap. Not worth the money in my opinion, but get it if you have no other options.

This was a poor choice on my part. I love the colour and the dual sided markings but it took a hot bath and eight volumes of the Encyclopaedia Britanica to keep it flat. Far from being "self healing" the scalpel tracks are very much not going away.It replaced a 10 year old Jakar mat which is actually still in better condition than this is after only a few weeks of use... Sadly, would not recommend.

Just what I needed. I sandblast glass and do a lot of picking vinyl and cutting with exacto knives and rearranged my living room furniture during covid to use as my out of studio office and workspace. I have several nice pieces of furniture and covered my work desk with two of these, the 24”x36” and a 24”x18”. They fit well and gave me a really nice desk top to work on. I just ordered a bunch more to cover several other tabletops in my “living/working room” because not only are they great to work on, you can’t cut through them and they protect well. They also look fab! Very cool and somehow it makes me more organized to work on grids. I’m a big graph paper fan, so this worked for my poor unorganized artist’s brain’s need to get my paperwork done. It’s a miracle! Highly recommend for non linear thinkers! Very sturdy, my cats like them but can’t hurt them as well. The ones I’m using on my long narrow table will double as placemats so they satisfy at least three different needs all in one! Cool beans:)

I think the product is not that bad but it didn't come like what it is shown. Since the colour is black i ain't complaining much

This is my first self-healing cutting mat. I took it because of the affordable price and medium size. I'm doing some leather crafts and using this mat almost every day. It's a double-sided mat with millimeters on one side and inches on the other side. Is the self-healing for the light cuts only? I have deep cuts on the mat and they don't self-heal. Also, I found that on the metric side, the numbers on the bottom and right sidelines are printed upside-down which makes it difficult to use them.

I was hesitant to buy this product or no because of some reviews with photos of the product with deep cuts, however, I got one. It is a very good product, of course, if I use it without any care I`ll end up like that photos in the bad review section. But as I do not push my knives too hard to go through the craft parts and mat, I still have a brand new mat even though I use it almost every day for the last 2 months, from time to time it gets scratched but after just wiping it and leaving overnight it looks like brand new. So this is a very good product which helps me to protect my furniture from scratches, glue stains, paint, etc... As with other tools, take good care of the mat after use and it will serve you long enough.
