Love the taste. And it's good for you. Follow the directions. Even though it's natural, too much can be harmful if overdone.

So, I don't think the taste is wonderful--it's like drinking hay-spiked water. HOWEVER, it's not bad. I add monk fruit to make it more palatable for my tastes. Again, it's not bad just not a tea I'm going to sip on all day. I drink it because I don't want kidney stones and I don't want to take another pill with chanca piedra because I take enough supplements. I have also found that I have more tonsil stones since drinking this tea so I think it is also helping to rid my body of toxins. Frankly, I've taken chanca piedra for years since my last kidney stone episode and I would drink the tea if it was awful simply to avoid that again--so do yourself a favor! I purchased a single glass carafe with a tea strainer to make it super easy to steep.

UPDATE 20210916.A buddy of mine at work was complaining of the same kind of pain I had experienced when I had decided to try this product. I had forgotten about this product and had to search for it.I am happy to say that it has been 3.5 years since I drank the tea and the pain in my kidney has still not returned. I am a believe that this chanca piedra DID get rid of my kidney stones.UPDATE 20180215.Okay. I got a little more serious about drinking it a few times a day. After a few days, the kidney pain went away and hasn't come back -- not even once! I am confident that this is working for me to rid me of kidney stones. I also see from others that there are other health benefits, so I will keep drinking it. (Plus, like I said in my prior review below, I really love the taste!) My wife had a cat scan done where they found a 9mm kidney stone. She claims she drank the tea a few times a day until it was time for her second cat scan prior to surgery. (Update: It turns out she drank a few glasses over the course of a few days.) No change in the stone. The surgery was really easy and it took care of the problem that day. It took about 3 weeks for her body to release all the fragments.I believe I am still suffering from at least one kidney stone. I am still trying to use the tea. (I also enjoy drinking the tea because it has a wonderful flavor and it is caffeine-free and hot on these cold days.) My kidney pain comes and goes (like it did with my wife until hers became acute and required a trip to the ER). So, I'm not really sure this is working for me.

This stuff is amazing. I originally bought it for my interstitial cystitis (chronic bladder pain) and it helps me tremendously when mixed with corn silk. However, I also started coughing up tonsil stones I didn't even know I had. Come to find out, this stuff breaks up fungi/bacterial biofilms that can be lodged in your tonsils without your even knowing it! I know it is the tea thats doing it.This also arrived extremely fresh. When I opened the bag, you could smell the product as if it was freshly cut and dried. Its much more fresh and packaged well compared to other chance piedra products I have ordered through amazon. Will be purchasing again. Highly recommend!

This herb I bought for some kidney stones. The flavor of the tea is so pleasing, I will continue to drink it just for the flavor of it. Between this tea and apple cider with a shot of apple cider vinegar made my kidney finally stop hurting. Something worked.

I had to go to the hospital after using the product for about 10 days, did nothing for the stone in my bladder.

Love this tea! Wanted to try it for allover health benefits and never dreamed we would like the taste this much! My husband likes it a lot too! We drink and eat for preventative measures. This company is great to deal with as well. And offer a nice variety.
