Works very well. It's loud with very little effort. The attached lanyard is perfect size.

Has a raised bite lip to hold whistle in mouth. Much better than other whistles that have a much smaller bite dimple.

We live in SE and occasionally we have tornado warnings. As a precaution- I bought these for my daughter, my neighbor, and for us. It is hanging in our designated room for precautionary steps in case a tornado comes through. Whistle would be easier to use “if”.

Great whistle for when outside to get my class' attention. Can create a quick, fairly quiet whistle when in close proximity or a full blown ear splitting whistle which definitely draws attention!

It's the second time I've bought them, I really don't know what some of them are complaining about here, I don't think there is a more powerful sound in a whistle than this one in particular, the only reason I can find is that either they don't have good lungs or They are deaf, it is too powerful, they stun. I recommend them 100%
