Desert Harvest Quercetin Supplement, 500 mg, 90 Capsules with Aloe Vera for Absorption

My wife has been a chronic IC sufferer for many years. When we first tried Desert Harvest's aloe vera capsules, it was like a miracle cure. In very recent years, however, the aloe has seemed to have a much less impressive effect on her IC pain and we started looking for other, non-surgical solutions.We came across Quercetin as one of DH's offerings and being one of their cheaper products, after reading through the what, how and why of Quercetin, we decided to get a bottle and try it out. Well I don't know if the nature of her IC pain has changed over time but the Quercetin was as sudden and impactful an improvement on her bladder pain as the aloe vera was all those years ago. Her pain level went from a 9 straight down to a 3-4 in just a couple of hours!Full disclosure, we also tried a bottle of DH's CBD also. For scientific purposes, she tried the CBD first and said it didn't help with the actual pain but made her much calmer and less tensed up by the pain. She took the Quercetin 4-5 hours later and the pain relief was significant... not instant but significant.She's currently on a regimen of 1 each Aloe Vera, Quercetin, and CBD twice a day and her quality of life has improved greatly.

I love using this stuff! I’ve been taking this for a week already and it really works for my IC. It doesn’t even take long to kick in. It helps me with inflammation and it calms it down. I just got diagnosed with IC three months ago, so Im happy that these aloe very supplements work. I was told to just take the plain aloe Vera ones, but the quercatin does work really well. Except the only problem, which isn’t really a problem is not to take it around the same time you go to sleep because you will be peeing a lot, and it also says that on the small book that comes with the supplements.

Unfortunately, it brought on insomnia. Can't get to sleep, only getting 2 hours.

to be honest, I wish these weren't so expensive. although to my knowledge there isn't an fda approval for interstitial cystitis for aloe vera. These help. my doctor recommended this for my IC. and for some dumb reason I get stuck in the "prescription items must be better" mentality. but I was wrong on this. i can feel the difference when I do not have these. and I will not let myself run out, I go right back to the computer and order when I'm running low. Pay attention to the cost for the larger bottles vs the smaller. sometimes you're better off price wise buying 2 small bottles than one large.

So far seems to help with pain associated with Interstitial Cystitis.It’s rather costly and not covered by insurance. The only medication ever FDA approved that I took for 21 years until they found out it causes serious damage to your Retina and can even cause blindness. The prescription medication is called a”Elmiron” ! It’s still on the market 😵

I think it is VERY misleading (if not criminal) to advertise this as "500 mg (90 capsules)" when the capsules are actually 250 mg. Serving size is 2 capsules, 500 mg per serving, 45 servings in a bottle. The type is so small on the bottle, I could not read it, even with my glasses on--had to get a magnifying glass. Wish I had looked at the back view here before purchasing.

These are smaller and easier to swallow than some other brands. I have been taking 2 capsules twice daily if possible. Helps with GI and bladder pain. quercetin has an antihistamine effect for the whole body. As an added bonus, I’ve noticed less eye and nasal irritation with this protocol.
