My 45lbs pupper absolutely hates fireworks. He will pant and his eyes bulge, he's so restless and scratches me all over, trying to dig into me. It's hell during major holidays because people pop fireworks for days before and after the main holidays. He runs into walls and doors and if I had a glass door, no doubt he'd broken it by now.But this thing is a miracle. I always give him two 25mg Benadryl/diphenhydramine but he's still so agitated, and prescription meds make things worse for him.Now I give him the two Benadryl and dump five tablespoons of this stuff into his bowl with some chicken broth (he won't eat it if it's not in a high value food), about an hour before the fireworks start and it makes a huge difference!!!!This will NOT give me my normal dog back. BUT it calms him enough to help us both ride out the night without wounds and that's a huge help to me. Keep it in your fudge for emergencies.Also. For whatever reason the bites/squares/stix don't work as well. It needs to be the liquid version. So happy I found this stuff

2 dogs. One 8 year old chihuahua and a 16 year old terrier mix. Both high strung. I have to mix it with cat food but they like that. Have had contractors here in the past week and they are less anxious about them. I am giving it every day. We shall see.

I mix a few teaspoons of this into his dinner every night and he loves the taste. It really seems to help his late night anxiety issues and night time pacing. He is a senior dog, almost 13 and it seems to work well. I knocked one star off cause the bottle it comes in makes such a mess I don’t use it anymore. I just got plastic squeeze bottles and pour it in there.

I don’t know if it works for calming yet, that jury is still out. But, It really smells terrible! One of my dogs seems to like it the other eats around it. Can’t blame him!

My dog and i typically love this brand of dog treats and stuff, so we thought we should give this a go. This review is mostly for me so i remember my experience.The smell of this is strong, and not in a good way., and if my nose can pick up on it, i can only imagine what he must be pickin up.There was a safety seal, it was intact, but after opening it, the cap itself leaks like crazy.Everytime i give this to him with his food, he pukes everything up and my carpets are fighting for their lives. I have even tried it without his food and hes mad at me.Im glad it works for some dogs, but it doesn't work for mine, ill have to find somethin else.
