*I have posted a video above for review and I hope you find it helpful! This is a fantastic decor representation of the Peanuts together carving their Great Pumpkin. The detail is spot on, and features lighting illumination within the Great Pumpkin as well as spooky sound effects. Three AAA batteries are required to operate the electronic features, and there is a port available for an AC/DC power adapter. (I did find a proper adapter available for purchase here on Amazon by a company named Kircuit as I describe in the video).In relative scale terms of large, medium, and small, I would rate this as medium size decor for its genre. At a $99 price point, I believe a larger version would warrant at a minimum 2 to 3 times that price. I’m very glad that the Bradford Exchange decided to create this outstanding item, and I would definitely recommend this to everyone without a second thought (especially fans of the Peanuts and the Great Pumpkin). On a side note, this item is shipped in a box with the Bradford Exchange logo, secured within a styrofoam casing, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. I look forward to displaying this decor during every Fall Halloween season and I believe you will too!

Arrived without any broken pieces and fully functional. Got it as a birthday present for my mother who loves The Peanuts and she loves it.

The item came within two weeks of ordering it. I was very happy to receive it. I have been wanting it for years. It looks really nice!

Opened the box and went to install the 3 AAA batteries. Stood the display upside down in its packing material to get at the bottom and snap. The sign with Woodstock had snapped off. Impossible to super glue it back properly on the post but photo included shows how I did glue it and it’s quite sturdy now. Nobody can really tell it’s glued unless I point it out. But! I bought it for my wife and she loves it!. I’d also bought one for our granddaughter and she too loves it. It does use up the batteries fairly fast though. But a very nice Peanuts display. Happy Halloween! I’d give it 5 stars except for the flimsy sign.

Super nice gift

I reordered the Peanuts “Carving Party “ because the first piece I ordered came broken. A portion of the ladder with the figure of Sally on it was broken off. I opened my reorder today and there was a crack in the pumpkin’s face right above its mouth. I debated about sending it back but decided against it. I like the sculpture but wondered quite frankly if a third reorder would have something else wrong with it. What has happened to manufacturing today that sometimes we just get tired of sending an item back and because we like it just learn to live with the flaws? It’s my decision I know to keep it but I am just tired of the process of sending things back. I am very disappointed with the Bradford Exchange.

i WAS VERY CUTE. HOWEVER, IT IS VERY SMALL, MUCH TOO SMALL FOR A CENTERPIECE. THE PUMPKIN WAS NOT A BRIGHT HALLOWEEN ORANGE, IT WAS VERY FADED AND LIGHT. I HAD TO RETURN IT.

This is beautifully crafted and perfect for decorating for Halloween. It lights up and has sound effects, too.
