Great travel wallet
I bought this for travelling as it can hold coins, notes and cards securely all in one place. It was perfect for the task.

Bellroy at it’s best
My husband loves anything by Bellroy and this nifty little wallet does not disappoint. Great size and capacity for cards, coin and notes. Phones may be taking over everything by cards in your wallet. However if you like to be a little bit more old fashioned and keep value cards safe then I would recommend.

Very good but also consider the Card Pocket wallet
I have and enjoy a number of Bellroy zipped products, including the smaller Card Pocket wallet, the larger Travel Folio and the A5 Work Folio. Those others are in Bellroy’s caramel colour, which has been around for a number of years, and it is a shame that this Folio Mini was not available in the same leather, although the slightly lighter “toffee” is still very nice. The Folio Mini is not what I would term a minimalist wallet, I’d say it’s medium sized, I personally think it’s too large to fit inside a trouser pocket. Yet like the Card Pocket wallet, it’s a Tardis. You can store an amazing amount of stuff in there while it retains it’s moderate dimensions. It’s got the usual excellent capacity, security and organisation which zipped wallets provide. It comes with a handy design note and card, which suggests how you should use the wallet. The leather is of the usual good Bellroy quality and I have no doubt it will patina after some use, and lose its somewhat matt appearance. The leather is hard wearing and well stitched to the interior. You do of course have the nice Bellroy owl logo on the outside. The zip is from OOK which is a little stiff to start, and I dabbed a few tiny drops of nano-oil to ease it in. Give it a week of use and you’ll be fine. The Folio Mini has no external features and has three inside sections. Right in the middle, there’s a pouch which is held closed by two powerful magnets. This inner section is primarily for coins and keys, or other small things. It’s sides are nylon, made from recycled plastic and meant to be low-friction, so as to allow coins to easily escape. On either side of the pouch are two slots. The design card suggests using one side for cash, the other for cards. It’s up to you how you use it, and it depends on how many cards or notes you want to carry. I found that it comfortably carries 5 cards in a slot and five notes in the other, with 10 coins in the pouch. You could easily get more in there. You do have to fold notes at least in half.In use, I found the magnetic coin pouch to be quite tricky to open directly. You can dig into the top and prize it apart, but the magnets are strong, which is I suppose is a good thing, and I therefore found it easiest to pull on the outer sides of the wallet to free the magnets. I was surprised to find that the UK 10p piece is magnetic, and therefore wants to stick to the magnets at the top of the pouch. This seems to be the only magnetic UK coin. Who knew?Depending on how many cards you have in each slot, it can be a little tricky to extract them, as the edge of the zipper overhangs the slots, so you could end up potentially scratching your cards on the zip, especially those seated furthest from the coin pouch. Some other reviewers have stated that the coin pouch opens when the wallet is unzipped. I didn’t find that happening. Handling coins are clearly a central feature of this wallet. If you don’t want to carry many coins, and don’t mind folding your notes in three, I would recommend that you purchase the smaller Card Pocket Wallet which can hold up to 8 cards, three notes and several coins in a smaller, cheaper footprint, which will fit in most trouser pockets. But if you want to carry more of everything and don’t mind the magnetic closure of the central pouch, this is a very good wallet.

Great little wallet
This is a bit of a Mary Poppins bag of wallets. Holds lots neatly in a small space. I was worried about it becoming discoloured in the yellow, but Ive had this for months now and it still looks great

Clearly used
Bought this as gift and item arrived promptly. It has clearly been used however - box worn, unsealed, no care insert and wallet itself has use marks and signs of wear - quite far from image in listing. Poor...
