The EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor is a game-changer!
The EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor is a game-changer! It’s compact, easy to use, and incredibly efficient. I was impressed by how quickly it inflated my tires — perfect for emergencies or regular maintenance. The digital display is clear and accurate, making it simple to set the desired pressure. Plus, the built-in auto shut-off feature gives peace of mind by preventing over-inflation. It’s lightweight and stores easily in my trunk, making it a must-have for road trips. Highly recommend this compressor for its performance, convenience, and reliability!

Works as advertised
This is a great little compressor. It can be carried easily in the truck, or even in one of the smaller storage compartments in some cars. It inflates quickly and stops at the pressure that you pre-set. I have used this several times for myself and a few times to help others and it has always worked flawlessly.Obviously it is not a super powerful compressor, but for a small portable unit it does a great job. And one of the best features is that it has a screw on chuck instead of that stupid folding lock chuck that wears out after a very short period of time.A great little unit at a very reasonable price.

Compressor
Impressive. Works better than expected. Inflates faster than bigger compressors that I've owned and it is literally 1/4 of the size. It's nice to have and honestly; for its value, I am glad I purchased two. Easy to use, less noise than all my other compressors and compact enough to store in the glove compartment, under a seat, or the trunk. Has a built in light and the dial is lit as well. It fills up to 50 psig.

Very good, but be aware of something
I already had a similar product by a manufacturer named Fortem. I bought this EP-Auto product for my son. If you like this design by EP-Auto, great. I prefer the square physical characteristic of the Fortem --- just makes it easier to store in the car. But either is fine, because they are both small. The main difference to me, is the connector that attaches the inflation hose to the valve on the tire. The designs are very different, and I definitely prefer one over the other. The type on the Fortem is just easier, where you just push in onto the valve and lock it in with the little lever. The type on this AP-Auto is the type that you screw on, which is slower, and a little more awkward. I just used the AP-Auto, and it was freezing outside. I had to take off my gloves to properly grip the little twiste valve, and it was still a little awkward putting on, and removing. The type on the Fortem would have allowed me to keep my gloves on, and even then done it quicker, more easily, and with a much more consistent and predictable air loss upon removal from the valve.I'm not saying the Fortem is better than the AP-Auto as a whole. I'm just saying that the way they attach to the valve on the tire is different, so be aware of that difference as you pick a similar unit.Overall the AP-Auto seems great. It sounds more quite and better quality, inflates a little faster, and less harsh/rattly than the Fortem. It actually feels and sounds like a better pump. But I do not like the hose connector. If I buy any others in the future, I will chose one with the connector type similar to the one on the Fortem. Be aware of that difference when chosing. If you like this design on this AP-Auto AND you prefer the valve connector that is comes with, then I would have no reservations recommending it.

Excellent tire inflator
This tire inflator is a quality product. I have been using it for several months now and am very pleased with it's performance. The air flow is consistent and the digital readout screen is well lit and is easy to read. The flood light is bright and is a plus for night use. I highly recommend this product.

Defective Unit (Replacement Works Great)
I bought this compressor because of all the good reviews. I read some bad ones and figured what are the chances of me getting a dud. It looks nice out of the box and worked well for 2 incidents. I topped off 3 tires and it was great. It was fast. Yesterday, I tried to top off another tire and in the middle of doing it, it stopped pumping and no more compressor noise. The flash light still work and the fuse is good. I love this thing, but wish it works. Will return it. Too bad.Update:I had initially given it a 1 star because the unit received was defective.I wanted to give this unit another try and got a replacement from EPAuto. The new one works perfectly as advertised.During the recent snow storm, the temps fluctuated up and down and the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) on my minivan displayed the low air icon. On the night before the storm, it was 10PM and I decided to use the van next morning because of the snow. The temperature was 27 degrees, but I had better do it then than the next morning. All 4 tires were about 2-3 pounds off. I hooked up the new unit, set the pressure to 35 and each tire took about 45 seconds to finish each tire. It was a breeze and I was ready to go the next day. Each tire stopped pumping when it reached the desired pressure. I was not worried about overheating because it was cold that night.Imagine if I had to do it the next morning, with the temp at 21 degrees and snow covered tires? Whoa!!If I didn’t have this thing, I would had to go to the gas station. Sometimes I have to wait or they give a “No Air” sign, saying the hose froze. And it’s $1.50 each time too!I had also topped off the tires on my sedan. I had wondered if the pressure displayed were accurate on the unit. After topping all 4 tires, I checked the car display and the TPMS matched the unit’s tire pressure displayed. No more need to use the pressure gauge to check. I am truly confident that the pressure is accurate. The unit looks sleek like a little sports car. The bag is adequate enough to hold the unit. The extra bike/ball needle and other adapters were nice, but I wouldn’t put it in the bag along with the unit. It’ll disappear into the abyss of the trunk. My only problem is putting on and taking off the hose. When attaching the hose, I had to make sure the threads are alight right or air will seep out. When I am finished and about to take the hose off, that is when it gets tricky. I have to take a deep breath, focus and screw the hose off as fast as I can without losing too much air. There were a couple of times I thought about putting the unit back on to top off the tire again, but I never did. This problem is of no fault of the unit. It’s just the way tire valves are made.Overall, I like the unit very much. Both my vehicles need 35PSI, so I just set it to 35 and never have to look back. I am seriously thinking about getting a second one for the van. Then I don’t have to keep switching it from vehicle to vehicle. It’s good insurance to have if I ever have a flat. I will need it to get enough air into the tire to get to a gas/repair station.Thank you, EPAuto!
