Really pleased and does a perfect job
Great for heart rate chest straps, really helps give and accurate reading fro the start. I use it for running and on cold days it really helps because of a lack of sweat.

Not easy to get out the bottle
It does the job, but I can't say it's any better than water.I have to squeeze with two hand to get the fluid out

Works well but bottle could be easier to squeeze
My chest strap hr monitor for cycling always took a while to become accurate even when wetted pre ride so thought I would try this, hr reading are accurate from the start now so big thumbs up, knocked a star off though for the bottle requiring a bit of a harder squeeze than you would think and although not a problem for myself I could imagine it being a problem for some

Great for using with cycling HRMs
I'd had a few issues with my HRM misreporting on colder days where I wasn't building up a sweat as quickly as usual and saw this recommended in a few places. It worked great and now I use it before every ride instead of wetting the strap using water. It's more pleasant against the skin and means you can apply it only to the relevant parts of the HRM.

Not as good as I hoped
Gel is very thick so it’s quite hard to squeeze out the tube. Previously i was using a much more liquid type gel. Found that I need to use a lot of gel to maintain a good contact on chest strap for heart rate monitor. It seems to work as long as sufficient gel is used but I’m not blown away by it.

Creates a really good connection to your skin
A little goes a long way and definitely helps your heart monitor to get a more accurate and consistent signal, particularly in the winter when you're not as sweaty.

Impossible to squeeze out of tube
As other reviewers have commented this is very hard to get out of the tube. Almost impossible. It does have a small effect. But I won't buy it again
