Safe, have my own pair for over 25 years now.
I bought this scissors when my first child was born. I continued to use it with my second child. My kids age are now 25 and 11 years old.I just bought the same type of scissors different color for my sister in law. For me, it's the best scissors to cut a baby's nails. I bought the first one 8 years ago when I had my daughter and I still have that one. Now I bought a new one for my baby boy. It has a good size and it is very securered for cutting the baby's nails.
