I love this car tree!
I love this cat tree! Ok, so I'm gonna write this review in a way that would have benefited me. lol I had just bought all new bedroom furniture and remodeled from floor to ceiling. I wanted a cat tree that was modern and did not have UGLY carpet or had a furry style...besides the ugly look they are impossible to keep clean from all the cat hair sticking like velcro to them. The wood style and top bed thats just regular fabric is purrfect (lol). I needed a tree that fit perfectly above my window sill, as i didnt want it towering up high (i didnt install the top tier). The top of my window sill is exactly 35.5", which means i need something a tad bit higher than 35.5. From the floor to the 2nd tier's bottom part of board is exactly 36". This is what i needed and it fits perfect with 1/2 inch to spare (see pic), so no scratching my window sill! I did have the hammock on , but took it off since it messed with the flow of my curtains...she wouldnt have used it anyway, although it did seem quite strong with a thicker steel frame. I also took out the tunnel thing because i dont think she would have fit (or even used it) and it was in the way of getting to the next tier like a stair case. The fabric bed thats actually supposed to go on the very top tier was put on the second tier instead. It barely fits and you have to stretch it real good around the corners but i got it on! My cats hair will not get matted and stuck to this fabric like the carpet/furry style ones. Now regarding the color of the wood/platforms...its a really dark grey with a dark brown wood undertone. Its not light gray and its not black. So if you have really dark brown furniture this will work since it has the brown undertones. And if you have dark grey furniture (which i do) it also works great. It wasnt difficult to put together, but took me alittle longer since i decided to take off the hammock and round tunnel after I already installed them. If you build it like i did and not install the top tier its pretty easy since I just used the screws for the top in place of the screws actually intended...the width of the screw and screw holes are the same, so no biggie. The scratch posts are actually more of a cream color than the white pictured...i was wanting the white in the pic, but thats alright. OH and there are 2 entry hole boards...one is white (shown in pic) and the one on the otherside matches the darker grey/brown wood like the rest of the tree. I dont know how I missed this! lol But i will take it apart and switch the wall holes so it blends more instead of the stark white being shown. My bad! There is actually 3 options of this tree by the seller: a smaller light grey wood one, a medium size tan wood one and this one which is the tallest and dark grey. I know i'm picky, but im tired of my cats getn all the fun stuff and my house looking subpar because of ugly cat tree's...this way we ALL win! I hope this helps anyone with a 35.5" tall window sill! lol The window sill in my other room sits lower so I think i'm gonna get the smaller light grey version and see if it works as good as this one did.

"Purrfect" Cat Tree
My sister helped me put this cat tree together. It took us about 40 minutes to put together. Not too bad. Instructions were easy for us to follow. The tree is sturdy and great for medium size cats. I like how the top perch is pretty big and not to small like other cat tree perch models. The bottom cubby is a cute hideout spot for shy cats. Another thing I like is that this cat tree requires less maintenance and is easier to clean. I owned an all around plush tree, it would collect a lot of cat hair which was expected. My plush cat tree required more brushing/vacuuming compared to this new one I bought here on Amazon. I have 2 medium sized cats and this tree has been marvelous for both to enjoy. Scratching post are a plus. What I also like, is the top perch comes with the covering so you can always remove that along with the rug pads and plush pillow in the bottom cubby and through it in a gentle wash.

Modern look with reasonable price
The media could not be loaded. The quality just screams Ikea, nothing wrong with it but don’t expect a nice sturdy wood or a solid scratch post, its mostly lightweight material but for $100, it’s definitely on the cheaper side of cat trees especially with these kinds of modern design.Assembling is fairly easy and instruction is informative and straight forward, took me about 20 minutes. Now some of the cons I noticed was the first jump point was a little bit high, for reference my cat is a 10 lbs tabby and he was hesitating at jumping at first but did not have any trouble after that. There was a minimal wobble when he jump to the top tho and also on the hammock. They should have made the base a little sturdier to avoid those wobbles on the top part especially if you have a carpet like in my apartment.I also noticed that there weren’t many places to jump around, it’s pretty much from ground to second then third and then to the top. My cat did not want to go all the way to the tunnel.Lastly, the bottom cave box (or tunnel) was not being used at the moment but we’ll see in the coming days.So far it looks better than any stupid overpriced cat tree wrapped in an ugly carpet that I previously own. This one is slick and has that modern look that I think would fit most aesthetic you’re going for. I’ll probably retro fit or work on it a little bit to fix some of the issues I found. And of course, my stupid cat loves it and that’s all that matters. Hope my review helps! Cheers

Ennui loves it!
The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble. Very nice quality, sturdy and stable. We got this for the outdoor stray we took in who spends most of his time outside and in our garage. It took him a few days to get the confidence to use it but now he sleeps in it every chance he gets and loves to play around it. He absolutely loves the hammock and spends hours in there napping. He weighs about 13-15lbs and it’s big enough for him. He just started using the top bed too (took him about a week) but it is not padded, so I will add some padding underneath the cover. I also added a small blanket in the bottom box because the fluffy cushion that came with it only has minimal lumpy padding in it. The scratching posts are a huge hit!Update: 6 months later and this remains one of the best purchases we have made for Ennui! He uses it daily and now that the weather’s not as hot he sleeps in the bottom box almost every night too, which he didn’t use during the hot months. The hammock is still his favorite place to nap during the day. Scratching posts get regular use. Everything is holding up great so far!

Cat tree
My cats absolutely love this tree! It’s not just functional but also looks great in the room. There are cozy hiding spots, relaxing perches, and plenty of areas to scratch — basically everything a cat could want. It's become their favorite hangout, and honestly, I’m just glad they’re not scratching the couch anymore!
