It's what you would expect a fast food chili to taste like which is a win for hot dogs, it's not as salty as other canned chili, where you would get like 80% of your sodium intake in one can. It is a lot of chili, 6lbs, I used about 1/10 of the can and froze the rest in freeze bags.

Delivered on time! Fantastic bargain-i got 6 meals for myself out of this one can! And it tastes good too-with tortilla chips n cheese-cant beat it!!

Purchased this on a whim for a cookout. I've got to say considering the price and amount it was worth it. The taste doesnt have that kick to it that Hormel coney sauce has, its a bit blander. But you get a large can for nearly the same amount you'd be paying for a small 8oz can of hormel. It also freezes up amazingly well. What I had leftover was put into freezer bags in more reasonable serving sizes. Perfect for those days when you just want a mess of chili cheese fries. Will 100% buy again.

This is a goto when a family needs a fast meal. Great on hot dogs, inside Burritos, over toast or for making a 'chili size'.

I buy this several times a year. One can make several meals for us 3 starting with Cincinnati Chili Dog. (Spaghetti noodles poked thru hotdogs, buns toasted with garlic butter, top with chili) Next meal is Chili Mac add in sauteed spinach, chopped onions and bell peppers. I freeze at least half the can for chili burgers, chili cheese fries, nachos, etc

Compaired to other products it’s a little more bland than expected for Chef Mate brand in my opinion. I guess if you’re having a large party you can just add some cooked ground beef to it and slap it on some hotdogs and it would work. The best thing I’ve done with it is larger that on a flour tortilla with a shredded chedda and a bead of sour cream. Makes the perfect mock Chili Cheese Burrito.

This is the best chilli that I have tasted in all my life. I have eaten all of that dog meat chilli from other companies and this by far is the best meat and sauce, that taste like restaurant chilli. Keep up the good work at making this chill with the same ingredients, because this chilli is now replacing any other chilli that I have purchased in the past!!!!!!

Bought one for myself and my daughter with 4 kids. We both thought it was horrible. I tried adding chili powder, no help. Added other cans of chili to it, which made it edible. Had to freeze in batches. They need to go back and rethink their recipe.
