Great price
For the price I didn't expect much. I had like four microphones I needed to rewire and I needed an extra hand and this device really came in handy. Pleased with the way it works.

Packaging sucks
Hand and solder are of great quality for the price.My only issue is the packaging. A small bubble wrap for the glass is not enough. Mine came with a cracked magnifying glass. Just a small chip, but I don’t think it’s worthy of a replacement.

Handy
Holds the wires really well. I used to lay the wires on a board to solder. What a pain. Now I don't use as much solder.

Pretty basic, but works well
This is a nice starter helping hands set with good magnification and a decent grip. It is a great little set that will get the job done. The design itself is overall pretty basic, but it works well enough. The extra solder is a nice little addition as well.

It's okay
Solder is fine, the helping hand is less helpful than it should be. There's simply not enough heft or size to the base and it's not stable at all. the gator clips are sprung pretty tight and i've had it damage some 20g wire already. The magnifier doesn't seem to do much.
