Aromatic Salt Premium Ceramic Neti Pot, Green

Well Made, Functional, and Classy
I got this because I occasionally used the drugstore plastic neti pot, and I was wondering if I am doing more harm than good to my body by pouring hot water into the plastic and injecting into my nose! This ceramic one is much classier, and I can put it in either microwave or the dishwasher for cleaning. It doesn't come with a lid, so you have to stir salt with a spoon or something instead of shaking the pot. I am pretty happy with my purchase, but on my last visit to the minute clinic for a routine cold, the lady said I have to be careful with Neti Pots not pushing the stuffed nose stuff back inside, specially if I have an infection. Now I am torn for using it when I have a cold, but on normal days, it is a nice tool. YMMV, and thanks for reading.

Fabulous All Around
I love this neti pot. The glaze is completely smooth, the handle is solid with no interior indentations to catch moisture, and every drop easily comes out with regular use. The round shape is not only comforting but also comfortable. I’ve used other ceramic and plastic neti pots, but somehow their construction was such that at least a small amount of solution remained inside regardless of how it was used.

One of the best we've found
I have to say, this is a great one! My wife and I liked it so much we bought 2 more to stash away. Seems when you find something you like, by the time you need to replace it, you cant find one again. That's how much we liked it, so we're covered now - ha! The inner diameter of the hole in the spout end is 5.51mm or 0.217" so you get a nice water flow, not a weak trickle. I'll see if I can add a photo later to demonstrate how the natural shape of the pot creates enough pressure to pour at an angle even - impressive. The spout tip is very nicely shaped, has a gently sloped finger tipped shaped end not pointy like some I've seen in a lot of them. The spout should fit in the outside of your nostril area like a hip joint or shoulder ball joint lays in the intended socket, not rammed inside your nose. Unless that's your personal preference I suppose. I noticed one person in the reviews said it was too big and didn't fit 'inside'? Ouch! The skin of your nostrils make for a good seal to this shape so it won't leak or dribble. It holds easily a cup of water mix, more than enough. When tilted the angle and design forces the water out 'very' nicely. You don't need to tilt your head sideways with this one, just a slight angle. The advantage to this one for me was it didn't sting or was anywhere near as uncomfortable. I was one of those people who felt like they were drowning in a swimming pool and my wife thought it was funny, but not with this one! I realize now the warm salt solution was going to far back into my nasal cavity and that's why it either stung or hurt - it was going too far back almost to my throat. The warm water should rise in your nose then flow up & over out the other side and it doesn't take much. The handle's solid, so no cleaning there to do. It's great for the fingers so you don't drop it. The color's very nice like a very pale green creamy tone - very tasteful. I just can't say enough good things, so I thought I'd share. We were so tired of trying to find a good one to replace ours, and here it is. At $14 it's a steal compared to more expensive ones. Nice job guys & gals!!!

Aromatic Salt Premium Ceramic Neti Pot Green
Heard of neti pots for a long time, but just got around to trying one. I chose this one in particular because it is real ceramic glazed, which can be sanitized well, and the handle is not hollow, which means no reside trapped. The nose tip is very smooth and does fit against the nostril-not in it. It was not at all harsh on my sore nose. I thought the hole in the top might let water pour out when tipped, but it doesn't. I tried it in the shower first because I didn't know what to expect in the flow. It is very gentle, so over the sink works just fine. No splashing, no running down the shirt by angling the neck and head, one finds the position where flow begins and easy peasy into the sink. I have a dry nose and post nasal drip which makes me cough at night. I don't want to live on cough medicine, so I thought I would try this. Wow! After two treatments, I slept without that nagging cough! So that sold me. The flow is gentle, all easy to prepare, use, and clean up. Kind of like a teapot for the nose, it's easy to use as making a cup of tea.

Very well made and such a pretty color that I leave it out on my kitchen ...
This was an upgrade from a plastic pot. Very well made and such a pretty color that I leave it out on my kitchen counter.Pro: It holds a whole cup of salt solution which is quite handy.Con: The hole in the spout is large. It will not fit in my nostril but I hold it tightly against my nostril and it works fine. All in all a very nice Neti Pot and I would recommend it.

Simple, functional and pretty
I have used various Neti pots over the past several decades, including plastic and ceramic. My last one lept off the counter and I found this one and it seemed like it’d just be a perfunctory replacement. No! This little cutie has soul. It’s pretty to look at. Water actually flows through it better than in my old pot. And what I like best is it’s made of high fire porcelain (durable) and a vitreous glassy glaze that is more hygienic than a matte glaze which is more porous and can trap moisture and bacteria. I’m very happy with this purchase.
