Connectivity was excellent. Good functionality. Was easy to set up and a great variety of colours available. Good value.

Works as dumb bulb without wifi. Very easy to connect to wifi for smart features. Easy to configure via own app or Alexa

Pros:> One of the better smart bulbs out there when it comes to pure lumens - I like a lot of light and this delivers well.> Works excellently with my Alexa and Google assistant. I've named them to be "Lounge lights", "Bedroom lights" etc, and this works excellently well.> Dimmable, with a newborn baby feeding at 02:00 in the morning with the lights on 10% is really a pleasure. (Except for the being awake at 02:00 part)> "Alexa, turn off toilet light" is an amazing party trick when someone is in the loo. Well at least its fun for me.Cons:> Honestly at the price for the dual pack of bulbs I really believe this deserves a 5, however as others have mentioned the app can be a bit fiddley to initially get the bulbs installed. I did need to watch a video for assistance and as such rated this a 4/5.As a summary, as long as you can get them installed they really do work well and I have had zero issues in the many months we have had them.

Make sure your mobile is using 2.4 GHz channel - otherwise the bulb won't connect.Load the Tuya App onto your mobile, it seems to work better than the Trust App.Plug the smart bulb into the lamp socket and turn on the light.Wait about ten seconds or so until the smart bulb starts to flash - there is no need to switch the light off at all or on/off.Start the Tuya App on the mobile - the app will automatically discover the new smart bulb.Select add device and enter your WiFi details and password.The Tuya app will take a few seconds to set up the new smart bulb.Test the Tuya app controls for the bulb, on/off, brightness and colour (use the scene menu option).Rename the smart bulb to a simple name such as "bedroom light" in the Tuya app.Leave the app open and load your Alexa app on your mobile - install the Tuya skill on Alexa.Then add a new light device in Alexa it should find your new smart bulb with it's new name. Test the setup. After a while Alexa will probably tell you she's learning about the smart bulb and ask you where it's located.

Love these, so much cheaper than hive bulbs which require a hub as well.These work well with Alexa, and colour changing so easy.Only downside is I can see is that they only connect to 2.4 and not 5.
