Nascent Iodine Drops for Thyroid Support. A Complete Nascent Iodine Supplement

I've been an Ultra6 Nutrition customer for several years and have used their Iodine product before, so when I wanted to buy it again as a Prime member, I looked to buy it through Amazon. When I looked at the Amazon reviews though and saw the review claiming there was very little Iodine in the product I became skeptical, so I decided to test the Iodine myself. I purchased a bottle from Amazon and tested it for color, taste and also did a starch test to verify the presence of iodine, here's what I found (picture attached):1) The liquid is a deep amber to brown color as would be expected.2) I can definitely taste the iodine.3) The iodine test showed a definite strong iodine/starch reaction (the drop on the left of the picture was placed on a small amount of starch and turned the starch almost black).Maybe they had a bad batch or some other type of manufacturing problem, because I can see the coloring is off on one of the 1-star reviews, but whatever the issue may have been, it seems that they have resolved it.I'm happy with the Ultra6 Iodine I just purchased and the Ultra6 Iodine I purchased from their website before seemed fine and the price is right. I would recommend it and will buy it again.

I know all the other benefits are widely published but this one obscure observation is perhaps the most indicative, observable, that your farmed produce today falls far short of what God originally placed there to help animal life. This one bottle can actually last years after you get your thyroid, hypothalamus and other organs loaded up to a reasonable idle.

Is your Iodine clear? I ordered this, and mine was clear, it didn't taste like Iodine, so I emailed the company, They said "Good question. Your bottle is good." and proceeded to say it's light brown but gets lighter with vegetable glycerin, and then questioned the other Iodine I was taking. I just couldn't believe this was iodine so more research. Iodine will turn paper, or better per Ultra6, a cracker purpleish or brown color. This bottle did nothing to paper or a cracker. I had less than a drop of my old bottle of Iodine Edge from Go nutrients and it immediately turned that same paper a shade of purple. I emailed the company back and told them there is no iodine in this bottle and I'm returning it. They said they would send me a replacement. I will update this once I get it, but if you have a colorless bottle of this I would test it on paper or a cracker to make sure it's got something in it. I ordered more Iodine Edge.Update: Jeff from Ultra6 was very nice and he sent me a replacement bottle for free. (Which he didn't have to do since I returned my bottle for a refund). Looking through the dropper there was a light brown tint to the liquid in the bottle. I tested this on the paper that came with the shipment and it did turn the paper a light purple color indicating there was some iodine in there. Upgraded to 3 stars.

This product helps to my thyroid to increase the TSH up to 189 when the medical community told me that I have to take for the rest of my live 100 milligrams of levothyroxine.As I can proof by myself this is a very good product I can recommend.I did take 6 drops before breakfast for 6 months also taking my medication then month and a half without medication to have my final test 189.My previous tests where between 2.300 to 4.7 what doctors said is "normal" taking medication but been health is between 159. To 189.I am not taking any more levothyroxine or Iodine.I'll check my thyroid levels after 3 months to be sure that I am healthy.

I've used this supplement for just about a month, now, and have noticed some improvement in several areas of my body. I am also using gelatine daily, so don't know how much is due to this supplement and how much to the other. I'm not crazy about the taste, but then, that's not the object in taking it (good taste) and I'd rather have a more pure product than have them add flavoring or something. I'm certainly not an expert, but for my purposes, it is just right. Certainly a lot less hassle and comparatively less expensive for the amount of iodine you get than buying kelp. Plus, I expect it will be the same every time I order it, whereas kelp can vary in crispness and ease of use---and you don't know how clean it is (or might not be). Overall, this is a better deal than kelp.

I started taking this, because of the comments I've heard of nuclear fallout from the Japanese nuclear problem. I must admit that I don't know if that was effecting me, since I live in West Texas, but I do feel better after taking it for a couple of weeks. I think it is a good product. I have done some online research and one doctor stated that a vegetable glycerin based product is the best and the label states that this product is of that base. Just knowing that I am taking the right form of iodine and that I feel much better is enough for me. I think everyone should take iodine and apparently this is the best kind. Thank you.
