Life called me old
I do hvac for a living and a few weeks ago i threw out my back setting a unit. That night after some ibuprofen and a whiskey I did some googling to solve this problem and discovered these lifts. I immediately bought one. It was shipped very nicely in a sturdy crate. All parts were there. I made a few modifications to make it quick disconnect to my trailer. And it works fantastic. Turns out I didn't read the whole add and was pleasantly surprised when it included 2 wireless remotes for winch control as well as the tradition wired. Total assembly time including modifications was 4 hrs with 3 people. Great product would highly recommend it.

Quality workmanship ??
I needed a shorter unit so went into this project with the knowledge that the welds and workmanship was questionable from other reviews. The welds on my unit were exceptable, but the tower pivot was 15 degrees off plumb and the braces for the mast were crooked, amd the bearings were dry and dirty. In the process of shorting the unit I corected those items. Works great now. Good design, needs more care in assembly and welding. Make sure you disasamble clean and grease the bearings. I also replaced the wire cable with 25' ATV 8500# rope, and added a remote kit. Use it to load and unload my 400# mobility scooter. Much safer, quicker, and easer than ramps.

This winch works for my needs
I mounted this winch in the back of my Isuzu NPR dump. I use it to lift 200+ lb 35 gallon totes of food scraps. It will handle much more than this weight. Sturdy build. The only thing that you will need to do is put some kind of cover over the wiring at the winch if you are going to use it out in the elements

Solid components but unusable - missing parts
Update: The customer service for the supplier (provided by Amazon) committed to send the missing parts but has not done that. I am still waiting, a month later.Original: The lift arm crane arrived and it is pretty stout with good welds and good construction. I have not installed the winch and it did come with some bolts and a lot of necessary wiring.I have contacted the supplier about some missing parts (the pulley and related spacers) and heard back once but have not heard back about a solution after the first response. So, without a pulley assembly it is virtually useless. Their customer service is lacking. For the bolts for the base, I had to drill out the holes and buy 1" bolts to support this lift arm crane. It came with rather small bolts that were too thin and too short for my application.

Quite happy
Awesome crane for the price. Handles full 50 gallon drums with ease. Makes it easy for one person to load and unload heavy objects.

Functional but poor craftsmanship
Pro's Fast shipping-will probably work for a little whileConsPoor craftsmanship-Chipping paint out of the box-Inconsistent welds, Burrs, Splatter-Several sections rusting already out of the boxWould not recommend unless you don't plan on using it very long or want to spend time fixing it back up out of the box.

I like this GPS speedometer
Looks good and works as advertised. The instructions need revision. Instructions refer to items not utilized on the Speedometer. There was an excessive amount of wire for my application, so there was a lot of bundling and tie wrapping going on.. The "inverter" supplied was something new to me, so it took a few extra minutes to figure out the correct way to wire everything. For my car, I connected the white from the inverter to the white wire from the Power distribution cable and joined those two white wires to an existing dash light wire. That takes care of the lighting. Then join the black (ground) wires, again one from the Power distribution cable and one from the Inverter and connect them to a good ground on the vehicle--you probably have a good ground on one of your other gauges. Then for the Red wire from the power distribution cable---connect it to a power source that is on when the ignition key is turned on. I did not use the "hot start" wiring. The antennae wire is very long, giving plenty of options to mount the antennae. I have an open cab--no top or windows, so I mounted the antennae on the steering column up near the steering wheel. Picks up the signal very fast. The lighting for the unit is good. The system to fasten the speedometer to the dash is great, like a screw-on jar lid. If the install instruction were better, I would probably give it 5 stars.By the way, I never did figure out what the turn signals, high beam reference had to do with the speedometer.

So So
After a full disassembly and rewelding some of the more important connections and greasing the dry bearings it seems to work fine. I guess I could have used it the way it was but some of those weld were scarry. Is a couple tablespoons of grease to much to ask ?
