Cute, Well Made
At first I thought some pieces from the smallest owls were missing but the had just come apart and were stuck inside the next larger owl. There were 10 complete owls in the set. Each one appears to be hand painted abd each and every one opens and closes easily. Only 2 complaints: 1. These don't seem to have any type of finish on them - all my others are glossy. I may hive them a gloss coat. 2. The 3 smallest owls have no facial features. The heads could have been slightly larger to accomodate a face but they are barely a bump on the body. They are quite small so not that noticeable at a guick glance no cause to return them. All in all these are a good price for 10 nested figures and the owl motif is good to display all year and not for just a particular holiday.I'd recommend these for any child that can understand and obey instructions not to put in their mouth or treat them roughly as there are some very small pieces and these all can be crushed and splintered easily.

Granddaughters love this!
I have a set of these that all of our granddaughters always want to play with when they come over (and they'll fight over it lol) so we purchased these for all of our granddaughters and nieces for Christmas and they LOVED IT!! The colors and details are so pretty and they all have fun taking them apart and discovering the smaller one that's next! Highly recommend as a unique gift for all ages!!
