This was bought as a need for a senior she has said that the ear pieces are working perfect. She hears amazingly better.And are also rechargable.

These have been an amazing solution for my 88-year-old father. We have tried many pairs of hearing aids including very expensive ones.My father is 60% deaf in one ear and 40% deaf in the other. Something about this specific kind, I don't know if it's the amplifier or because we made sure to get securely fitting...ithas made these be a godsend. Hearing aids. We've had to have the volume up 3... With these we have them at a 1 and he can hear extremely well and the TV doesn't have to be blaring.I cannot explain enough the criticality of ensuring you have the correct earbud size. This is not information I understood until reading one of the notes on their description of these hearing aids. Then I did a bunch of research. THIS IS CRITICAL TO PREVENT THE SQUEALING/WHISTLING. I had never paid attention to this part of a hearing aid before. I actually looked at the size of my dad's ear hole and he needs extra large earbuds (14 mm) to fit securely within his ear. This truly is made all the difference in the world. Perhaps it would have helped on past hearing aids but we will never know because we're going to continue to invest in this very budget friendly solution. Why would we spend hundreds and thousands of dollars when we can spend less and get fabulous results?It's a little tricky to get the USB pieces into the hearing aid but once figured out... We use a rocking motion after putting one end in first... It works well.We are also very impressed that we only have to charge these once a week.We've only had these since the end of December and it is now only mid-January so don't know how long they're going to last. We're hoping they will have endurance as this brand claims, these are 5-year hearing. We were thinking even if we have to buy these twice a year, they're still cheaper than other solutions and these actually really really work!We are beyond pleased with this purchase and strongly encourage other people to try them. Very important note again. Make sure you get the right size and shape earbud to fit securely within your ear.

My grandmother was fitted for hearing aids five years back for about $600 and they barely help her, contain expensive batteries that don't last very long and screech in her ear when using the phone so she has to take them out. In hopes of finding a cheaper, more effective solution, I bought a pair for my grandmother and also for my grandfather who also has issues with hearing. My grandfather is excited about being able to hear better again after so many years and was giddy like a child in a candy shop. My grandmother also saw a huge improvement as well and was able to hear me without me having to yell or repeat myself multiple times like with her other ones. However, my grandmother has smaller ears than my grandfather so while his fit perfectly, they keep sliding off my grandmother's ears when chewing or even just talking. If there's a way to change out the pieces that go over the ears to a slightly smaller one to better fit smaller ears, she'd be set! Neither of them have the volume on very high levels. In fact, the first level is more than enough to amplify the sound enough for them which is amazing! I don't know if it was just the two that we bought but I wish that each box included a wall charger with two USB ports so that my grandparents can charge both their hearing aids at once. We received the charging cables but no wall charger. If these aren't included, I wish they would be.

I HAVE PURCHASED SIMILAR AMPLIFIERS FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND LEARNED THE MORE YOU USE IT THE FASTER THEY BREAK DOWN. THEY LOOK ALIKE BUT ARE FROM DIFFERENT CHINESE FACTORIES. I GOT THEM FOR MY PARENTS AND FAMILY. PRICE WISE THEY DO A DECENT JOB. THIS PARTICULAR MODEL I GOT FOR MY AUNT THAT LIVES IN A DIFFERENT STATEI HAD EXPLAINED HOW TO USE IT BUT!! SHE CALLED ME UPSET BECAUSE THERE WAS NO CHARGER. I WAS DOUBLE CHECKING THEIR ADD AND THEY HARDLY MENTIONED THE CHARGING. I AM VERY UPSET BECAUSE OF THE STRESS OF MY AUNT AND I HAD TO ORDER AN EXTRA USB CHARGER. I AM VERY UPSET FOR THE MISS INFOSHE IS WAITING FOR THE CHARGER THAT COST ME 30% OF THE AMPLIFIER. I HOPE IT WORKS AS IT SHOULD IF NOT I WILL RETUN IT THAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF BUYING EXTRA WARRANTY. MANY ITEMS ARE FROM INDEPENDENT SELLERS AND AMAZON ONLY ACCEPTS RETURNS FOR A FEW WEEKS. MOST AMPLIFIERS LAST LESS THAN A YEAR SO FOR $4 YOU CAN GET A REPLACEMENT WITH EXTENDED WARRANTY. GOOD LUCK AND DO NOT FORGET TAKE BREAKS USING THEM BECAUSE THEY GET HOT AFTER 90 MINUTES OR SO.

Terrible squeaking sound and the silicone piece keeps sliding inside the ear. I've only had them a few months and they are going in the trash, complete waste of money.
