Nice read
It put things into perspective for me. It made me reflect on my life. Cleverly written, philosophical, decent little book. You need some imagination to read it but it’s decent

A Philosophical Take on Fairy Tales
"The Princess Who Believed in Fairy Tales" by Marcia Grad is an interesting read for hardcore fairy tale fans like myself. The book offers a unique and modern twist on traditional tales, focusing more on philosophical lessons than on storytelling. It can be very heavy-handed about the morals it's trying to teach. While it might not engage the average reader, it could be a good read for those going through a rough or painful time in their life, as the story is about learning how to be true to yourself.

Eye opener
Thank you Mme Grad. I read your book in French as I found it recommended by my therapist on her web site. The story related to my own life in every single way and I recognized my own mother in the Queen and my husband in the Prince. But only after having finished the book I realized that I was also a bit of the Queen in the life of my own, now 25 year old daughter. I ordered a copy for her in English via Amazon and had it shipped to her in Canada where she lives. I called her and told to read it very carefully. That she would understand the real meaning of love, to use that knowledge in her future relationships, and to hopefully understand and forgive me for wanting to now to divorce her father who she adores.
