9 months very intensive use and still going strong
I leave very few reviews. But I do appreciate other people's helpful reviews. Not reviews that say a product has changed their life or is amazing when they have just unboxed it. This review is for people who find buying a kettle a frustrating and tedious task and not something you really want to spend a lot of money on. I have had many kettles in my life. My advice having had an expensive Bosch which broke after a couple of months, a very expensive Dualit which also disappointed and cheaper kettles that don't last that long either, is probably don't spend too little but also don't spend a fortune (£100 plus) on something that is likely to disappoint. Basically if you don't want your kettle to be the focus of your kitchen, don't want pointless gimmicks and just want a kettle that boils water that is simply designed, smart looking and is likely to last a reasonable amount of time this is a good option. The minimum amount of water you can boil is a bit higher than some kettles - it is basically one large mug: it also boils quite vigorously for a little while before switching off - but you can just switch it off before. If you fill it up and boil full it's not really quiet and you might think the lid vibrates a bit - but who does that all the time? On the basis of this I will probably buy other Cuisinart products. I have probably tempted fate and it will pack in the moment I place this review but after 9 months very intensive family use it is still going strong and looking as good as it did on day one. That's a real life and hopefully helpful review.

Good
Good looking kettle and is sturdy on its base. Nice material and cool touch. However, I have dropped a star because it often over-boils and the lid doesn't fit snug so steam escapes. I bought three for various applications and this is a common feature across all three so not returning. Overall, though I would still buy again.

Loose Lid Causes Rattling & Water To Run Out When At Max Fill Level
The media could not be loaded. Like other reviews i found the loose fitting lid to be an issue when boiling at maximum capacity causing some rattling & boiling overspill which isn't safe. See video. It needs a stronger spring & tighter seal on the lid. The positives are that it boils a full 1.5 litres of water in 3 mins 20 secs & the minimum 0.5 litres of water in 1 min 10 secs with an acceptable noise level, not too loud but not exactly quiet. Also useful is that its double walled with a stainless steel interior, however it has no removable filter instead there are drilled out holes which are too large to catch any detritus from hard water. Also the water gauge behind the handle is too difficult to see when filling from the tap. Why not locate it on the side? I bought it whilst on offer at £31.99 down from £55 which is way is overpriced seeing how the quality is not that good. I cannot comment on how long it will last as i returned it the next day. Overall id recommend a different kettle at the £30 price point.

Good product but too loud
The media could not be loaded. It’s a good product but too loud than I expected. The lid is a bit loose and the steam forms near the lid. The kettle shakes when it comes to the boiling point. It’s not that worth the price. The quality is ok.

Very poor quality
Looks great but it is heavy, noisy and the lid does not fit properly allowing steam to escape also allows water runs out through the gap and why put a black cable on a white kettle? We had the matching toaster as well and thats also poor quality. Have tried without success to get hold of Cusinart customer service but have had no response. Pretty poor really

not great quality
I used it for a couple of weeks after which, the lid stopped closing properly and the kettle would not switch off when it boiled even if I manually kept the lid closed. The kettle looks nice but the quality isn't what I was looking for. Bought a slightly more expensive one beginning with De to replace my old one which had lasted over 15 years and only died because someone put it on the gas hob.
