Bass Traps That Work!
I wound up ordering 4 dozen of these. Ended up having to soak them in the tub for like 15 minutes to get them to separate and fluff out, which was pretty cool. They're rather durable, but if you do have to soak them, GENTLY wring them out, then let them sit in a fairly warm room in front of a fan for about 24 hours. The instructions suggest that you can put them in the dryer for about 15-20 minutes. I would NOT recommend this. I did this with the first few and noticed that due to the traps being wet, they tend to grip the back wall of the dryer and get caught in between the back wall, and the tumble bars inside the dryer, as it is spinning, which ultimately causes tears in the edges, and chunks missing off of the baffles. I saw that and immediately took them out of the dryer. Air-drying with a fan takes more time, but there is no damage to the product. These traps are very good quality and design for the money! I would recommend them to anyone trying to create a Studio space, vocal booth, or any space where low end is reflective. They make a huge difference! I will be ordering again!

Ignore the "flat like a pancake" reviews...
Ignore the reviews of folks saying they arrived flat; they're compressed, vacuum sealed for easy shipping .. of course they arrived flat! I bought these a year prior and just got to opening them up for use. Bought a 12pk of pyramid pattern and it arrived in a single vacuum sealed package. The inner pack had two vacuum sealed packs containing 6 compressed panels. I tried both methods to revive the foam and both worked, with some notes...If you've never worked with foam before, MOST foam products ship to you flat packed like these did. The leave out and let them rise method works best in a room that remains warm (between 65-75°F) with air flow. Sometimes the panels need more than 48 hours to fluff up, especially if they've been packed for awhile.Of the two methods, the soak and dry method worked best and fastest! A few tips:1. USE HOT WATER. Get the water as hot as you can safely handle and soak the panels one at a time in a sink. Don't drop and flood them... hold them up and soak them under the faucet. If you have a hose you can use, even better. Soak the whole panel. If any edges still look thin or dry, use your fingernails and scratch the edge of the panel. As you scratch it you'll release the pressed edges. I promise they're not sealed or cut wrong. It may take a little effort, but they're fine. Make sure to really wringe them out before throwing them in the dryer. Use MEDIUM HEAT in the dryer for 20 minutes. If they're still damp, throw them in again for 10 minutes.Of the 12 panels, all 12 fluffed up fully however I did take the air fluffed panels and soak/dry them for fullness. These worked GREAT! Sound dampening in a recording corner for half the price!

DONT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER
These are great but DO NOT DRY THEM IN A DRYER. I’ve used these before and I think they’re great, but they are not durable enough. I soaked these things for a minute like it said and I put them in the dryer afterwards. Even after going through the dryer the foam was still wet and it was torn apart. Edges were ripped and it just makes it look worse. I would rather wait a few days for them to expand than have ripped edges and corners. If you’ve ordered a while ago and are buying more. Just so you know they are a bit smaller than before. Maybe an inch shorter on one side. So you should probably replace all the sound proofing instead of just getting more

Worth the money and would buy it again.
Detailed review (Unpaid/Non Sponsored)I feel that this is a good product and deserves a 5-star rating. Here is why.Pros:-The product measures as advertised.-The product is shipped fast.-This product has a low odor.-This product adheres well with glue spray or other adhesive tapes.-This product is dense and is absorbent. It has multi-groove patterns that will also help absorb a wider range of frequencies vers a typical style pattern.Cons:No many to be honest, but if I have to pick a list of potential drawbacks here we go.-The product is vacuum shrunk to minimize shipping costs. This is a pro when you think of it because the buys save in price, but due to this shipping method you will not pull this out of the box lay it in your space. It will take you about 30-90 minutes depending on if you use a dryer, or if you air dry (would not recommend) but if you do at least 24 hours. Because the seller covers this and it's matched with common sense that these steps will need to be taken., I did not feel that this was worth a negative star but definitely worth noting for those who just read reviews.*If you air dry have the following:1 A clean lint-free space2 Space them so they are not touching3 do not stack them it will warp the foam4 Make sure your space is ventilated5 Make sure that you have an absorbent product under the foam. Towels, have them on Rack or something like that. This way all 6 sides can dry.

weird cut pieces, don't stick to wall
Can't speak to whether or not these work because the 3M double sided tape recommended here doesn't work to stick them up. I'll be trying spray next but didn't want to make a huge mess in my room. They look ok but I got 2 pieces that were cut weird and aren't gonna be useable at all. Wish I could just return those and get 2 new ones instead of having to return 24 and risk getting more weird cut ones.
