So far so good
I bought 2 7ah batteries for my apc backup that is used for my aquarium. Batteries replaced the lead acid physically with no problems. The backup unit reported partial charge and after a few hours charge reports 600 to 800 minutes of runtime on my filter and lights.I have almost lost my fish due to power loss. I had to use a jug and move water from the sump to the display tank, and let it siphon down, which is a stressful pain I rather not repeat.I have had 3 year life from the original and last 2 sets of lead acid battery replacements. The idea of 10 years for only 2x the money seems like good value. Time will tell on this.

Simply awesome for UPS use
Decided to take a gamble and buy this to replace the dead lead acid battery in our UPS. This battery is a lot lighter and has a lot more capacity than the old lead acid one.The UPS continues to run well and works thru any power blips that we have had and no errors with the unit at all. I definitely recommend this as an UPS replacement battery.

Alot lighter than the original battery and true to its size measurement described
Battery works. Fit my ION radio with no issues. Biggest issue on all these batteries is how long does the charge last and how long before you have to recharge it again so ill keep you posted.

Update- Failed 1 year in
Update- capacity of the battery started fading after 6 months, and is now completely dead after 1 year. Within 6 months, battery life had faded from easily a full day to only a couple hours. Now, battery life is about 10 minutes at low volume and it dies immediately if turned up. The speaker indicates it never goes above 1 bar charge. The original cheapo lead acid lasted over 2 years, this supposed improvement only made it 1. Don't bother. Original review below.Have a Ecoxgear Boulder+ speaker that's a couple years old and the original sealed lead-acud battery life had faded to only a couple hours at low volume. Figured might as well upgrade to a lithium pack, this physically was a perfect fit, however it arrived completely dead out of the box. Only 0.2v measured across the terminals. It's common on 12v replacement packs like this the BMS will go "dormant" if u used for a long period of time, or the battery is run too low, preventing over-discharge. Generally, applying a charger will boost the voltage and "wake up" the battery. However the built in charger of the Ecoxgear speaker was only supplying about 13.8, which apparently wasn't enough to "wake it up".on the pack it says charge voltage 14.8, which is higher than most appliances designed for SLA batteries will provide. The shade tree trick is to just jump it to an 18v power tool battery for a couple seconds. This did the trick, and woke up the battery, now showing only 9.5 across it, but it started accepting charge from the speaker. After about 8 hours it was showing fully charged and 13.8v across the terminals. So far so good, speaker works fine and was on for several hours at fairly high volume and didn't even lose one bar of the battery gauge, where with the old battery it would have been dead within an hour. The other quirk of lithium replacements is the battery meters is generally calibrated for approximate charge % based on the voltage curve of the original lead acid, while these lithium packs have a more or less regulated output voltage for the majority of the capacity, only dropping off as they're nearly empty, so the appliance may show 100% charge for like 90% of the capacity, then rapidly ticking toward empty right at the end. While somewhat troubling the battery was essentially DOA, with zero instructions or anything that it may be "dormant", LiFePo batteries are generally very tolerant of deep discharge, moreso than li-ion. If you have a battery charger specifically compatible with automotive 12v lithium batteries, they generally have a "boost" button or will automatically apply a high voltage even if none is sensed, but chargers intended for lead-acids usually won't supply charge unless some voltage is seen, or may not supply high enough voltage to "wake up" the pack.

Darn Good, Not perfect
We have tested 10 units as part of a plan to replace our UPS batteries with these. On the small units, they do great, on our large ones, the BMS trips and it has to be reset by applying 12v to the external terminals. We did load testing, they pulled 8.5 ah, not 9, and that was at a gentle 2 amp discharge. The internal BMS will disconnect at sustained discharge over 12 amps. That stinks when they are inside of a UPS and have to be pulled out to reconnect. We are starting to replace our lead acid batteries in alarm panels, access control, and small UPS's units with these. We will have to wait for improvements before using these on the 2000va and larger units.

Lightweight and powerful
I am using this to replace a dead Sealake FM1270 rechargeable sealed lead acid battery. While the tabs on the new battery are slightly larger than on the old, the new battery came with wiring that allowed me to successfully adapt the new battery to the old wiring. This new battery charged relatively quickly, and while I have only had the battery for a week (so judging the battery life and longevity is not going to be possible yet), it seems to be holding a charge and working just fine. Given how light the new battery is compared to the old, I think this upgrade has reduced my portable spotlight weight by half.

Perfect Vexilar FL18 battery replacement!
This battery is the exact same size, voltage, and amp hour as the original, but is half the weight. You do need a different charger than the original that came with the fish locator, but definitely worth it.

Stay away!!!!!!!!
Warning this battery is not for Generators. Hooked mine up to my generator, it just clicked and did nothing, battery had a full charge. DO NOT BUY FOR GENERATORS!!
