Q: Does this attract honey bees? I am a beekeepr and I want to solve my yellow jacket problem but not kill any of my bees.

IT WILL NOT ATTRACT HONEY BEES !!! We've been using these for more than 15 years, and they only attract yellow jackets. Not a single honey bee; but they have attracted and killed thousands of yellow jackets.

Q: Is this good for use in the fall in Michigan?

I left another post about this product was useless when I used it here in Atlanta this summer. I would not waste your money. Go to a good pest control online company and buy Delta dust and a reusable duster. Dust the nest at night say 10PM, if it is reachable - mine was in the in the ground. Wear protective clothing and do do not shine a flashlight or bright light down or near the hole. If its not reachable I would just call a pest control company. These yellow jackets are especially aggressive in the fall when their food supplies are dwindling. Q: How do you get rid of it once the need are caught? Do you throw it out with lives bees? Also how often do you need to refill?

When they got really full of dead yellowjackets I submerged them in a bucket of water because they were so effective that there would always be live ones in there if I left them outside. Then I brought them inside and rinsed out the bees and lures. I have a sink disposal so could put them down the drain. How often depends on how fast they get full! For us it was about two weeks.
