I’ve been reading selected chapters over the past several weeks and I’m impressed with the concise expertise rendered by acknowledged experts in the field of hernia surgery. Should be in every general surgeon’s library. Just can’t figure out how to access the video series?

Excellent book if you do this stuff for a living.

A terrific resource for the surgical resident. Outlines steps and pitfalls of complex surgeries. Chapter on the retrorectus/TAR release repair is particularly good. Very good reading done ahead of cases and solidifying techniques and knowledge afterwards.

I continuously look for training resources that will further my understanding of the many surgical techniques to hernia repair. Hernia Repair is a focus for the organization I work for. Although the company provides valuable tools to aid in my training and understanding of the specialty, Dr. Novitsky’s Current Principles has been invaluable to my understanding of hernia repair. I have a better grasp on the anatomy, understanding of the different surgical approaches and nuances that exist. I reach for this book frequently...you will find the answers to your questions from various thought leaders throughout the specialty. I highly recommend this book for industry or anyone who wants to further their knowledge in this field.

It’s a very simplified version of complex procedures being done for hernias.I ‘be learnt a lot & would recommend to everyone interested n hernia management.
