I take my store brand water bottles and empty them into the water pitcher to extract plastic contamination before drinking and the water tastes great. When I fill the pitcher with tap water from my sink, it still tastes metallic and vaguely gritty. Maybe the water in my area needs a stronger filtration system. But the pitcher is strong, does not leak, the larger size I bought came with one 4- mos filter which saved me money, and it fits neatly into my fridge.

This cannister fits well in the fridge and holds a good amount of water. Needed something to remove fluoride from the water as my daughter has a sensitivity. The filters are supposed to last a long time, but the cost of the replacement filters is very high. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of portable systems that do the job. Glad we had this option.

Finally found a counter water filter that gets rid of fluoride and that rotten tap water taste. Very pleased. A little expensive but well worth it. Sold my Brita in a garage sale.
