Very Thorough But Simple
This book is a lot thicker than I intended it to be, and is very thorough. It also teaches both block and cursive writing, which is helpful if you intend to ever read handwriting. I haven't finished yet, but I've definitely found what I've used to be very simple but helpfully thorough.

Covers all aspects of the alphabet
I find the intelligent layout of the book remarkable especially the sound component and how it gradually adds on each letter previously learned until you've gradually learned them all.I'm only a quarter of the way through the book but I'm looking forward to be able to listen to the dialogue in the back of the books. This I want to use as a launching pad to other dialogues as I gradually build up from letters and sounds to words and sentences and thus stories.I learned the whole alphabet in a day or two from other sources but what this book does is it teaches you the nuances of the sounds and recognition of the written and verbal forms with its accompanying downloadable audio files in addition to both the print and cursive styles of handwriting.I've had some starts and stops as I begun this about the beginning of the year (it's Feb 05, 2022 as I write this) and I thought I would be done the book so far but I've been reassessing my language learning goals and readjusting my schedule to work for me as the book is pretty intense due to it's comprehensive but predictive (after you've done 1 or 2 letters) style. The book is intense but it teaches the nuances of the sounds of the letters and I feel like this is where it may be better than most other Russian handwriting books. It might fall short with the amount of handwriting room given for each letter but I feel like you can make photocopies if you wish (I write in pencil) or even get another cheaper book that's more comprehensive on that issue. I have two other books that both cost about $5 - 10 each and I ultimately went with this one because I wanted to master the sounds of the language without having to guess at long explanations of how to form your mouth. That's where the richness of the audio comes in.Each page starts with an overview of how to draw the print and cursive letter then a listening exercise. Then it's usually a recognition and underlining exercise followed by a listening exercise to go over words you just practiced recognizing. There's a few more and the lessons compound ending with words that build up the letters learned so far, practicing both print and cursive forms of the letter. After the book is over, I have a couple of ideas how I'm going to attack the grammar or organize it in my mind whatever metaphor is better suited for the task at hand. Comprehensive listening may be a key there but Lingo Mastery's grammar focusing on conjugations seems to be a unique approach and something I played with in the past learning Spanish.I have an intention to use memory palaces for the most common 1000 - 2000 words in the Russian language but am still in the brainstorming phase of that.So if you're starting out on your Russian language learning adventure and you don't know the Cyrillic alphabet or its sounds, and you need to practice the handwriting both print and cursive; this should be your last stop!

This book lives up to its title
Each section of this book is dedicated to a specific letter of the Russian alphabet with exercises in pronunciation and writing of the letter along with included audio for pronunciation. These progress to reading exercises incorporating all of the letters previously studied. You can progress at your own pace and before long the Russian alphabet doesn't seem intimidating at all and it starts to make sense!

Almost Perfect
This book is almost perfect for learning the Russian Language. It teaches the letters and how to pronounce and write them; solo or in words and sentences. You will have plenty of practice all throughout the book to write and perfect your handwriting for new letters you come across, so don't worry too much if it starts out bad.My only real setback for this is that the audio files that come with it sometimes skips words that were supposed to be read, and reads some things out of order. This can throw you off and confuse you if you weren't paying attention to all pronunciations of prior letters. My solution? If something sounds off, I run it through a Russian text reader and confirm if I'm right.

Great Product
I was referred to the Russian Alphabet Made Easy by someone who speaks, and writes, fluently. I have found it thus far a valuable tool, based upon my learning styles (combination); in addition to being someone not enrolled in any formal course. I love how the learning is structured, and the fact I am able to practice in my own time. I also love I am able to access the audio files from my phone, which means I am able to learn on the go, so to speak. I recommend this product for beginners.

Confidence booster
I've only had this book two days and I'm making steady progress. Includes links to audio files and covers eveything you need to learn to read and write the Russian alphabet - how to recognise each letter, in print, pronunication and how to write in cursive - includes handwriting practice pages which are hugely helpful. Just the approach I need, building step by step. I'm a complete beginner and started learning Russian two weeks ago, just through self study, going at my own pace. This workbook is a major help and confidence booster.
