I had purchased a Peter Pan hot water bottle, the one with the handle and was amazed with the quality, simplicity and effectiveness of this "antique" technology. Way better than electric heating pads. The fact that more than 50% of its composition is actual rubber is probably why it stays hot, for so long. Decided to try this long one since it would cover a larger area of my bed. Came with a delightful "furry" cover, feels like bunny fur. Wow this is fabulous for heating up the foot of my bed. Even 10 hours later it is still radiating warmth! Be advised, compared with the smaller one with a handle (a genius addition to the traditional shape of a water bottle) it is not as easy to maneuver in bed, under the covers and in the dark because of its length, however having one of each allows me to utilize the differences in size for a toasty, comfortable bed on damp, cold nights. And I'm so pleased and grateful not to be sleeping 8 hours blanketed in EMF !(Electro Magnetic Frequency/ies....it's a real thing you should be aware of)

I have this long version and the company's extra large standard shaped version. Both are high quality and the covers are nice and soft.I use them constantly in the New England winters, which helps me save on heating the house. I've used it to treat sore shoulders, stomach aches, anxiety, and other minor aches and pains. My girlfriend has also used it for period cramps. Added bonus of my cat loving it, so if I have it near me, my cat will always sneak in.There is a rubber smell, but it dissipates over the life of the product. No leaks or spills yet and I've had them for years. Honestly a life changing product.

Cover is very nice. Advertised could be used for cold or hot. Haven't had a chance to try hot water (currently over 90 degrees) but ice inside melted and reached room temp in about 2 hours. Does not hold cold very well, hence 4 starts.

No forever chemicals, no PVC off gassing, no smell at all, really well made and easy to get on and off fur cover ... this hot water bottle is worth every penny.I am British, I have owned probably over 20+ bottles in my life personlly as I grew up with them warming my feet from a very early age. One family at night huddled under a blanket ... these hot water bottles changed their night's sleep.We have given out probably over a 100 hot water bottles to the Tibetan Refugee Camps in Nepal in the old people's home - they love them! (As long as they had fleece covers).So as you can see I am a veteran Hot Water Bottle woman, I never travel without one and I have traveled for 39 years to over 45 countries. Hot Water bottles are great - just make sure you get the cover otherwise you can burn yourself. This is the best hot water bottle I have ever had! Now you can see it's worth the money. No forever chemicals, no PVC off gassing. I love it!

I thought I was gonna return this item as soon as i got it—cause I ordered both this one, and the “more traditional” sized one from this brand—I think I’m going to keep both.The long size is really nice for my neck—I can wrap it around the back and sides of my neck, and it’s pretty comfy. The ropes at the end were a little weird at first—but I used them to tie together to maintain the “U” shape around my neck, while I’m sitting on the couch (so I won’t have to hold the ends myself).It’s nice while it’s cold outside—

This hot water bottle is a lifesaver. I have chronic neck pain and the shape so easily rest over my shoulders and around my neck for perfect relief. I also love that it wraps all the way around my low back which also gets sore and I can tie it on. Sometimes when I’m on my cycle I will actually wear this when I go out for my walks in the winter to keep my low back and kidneys warm. I got the rubber one and I read some reviews that people didn’t like the smell and sent it back but rubber is completely natural the smell dissipates. The other plastic versions are the ones that use all kinds of crazy chemicals so this natural rubber one is the way to go. I also love the fuzzy casing around it. And I use it in my bed to keep my feet warm. Seriously cannot tell you how much I love this water bottle! And now with the pandemic and meeting outside all the time I just bring this little puppy with me and it keeps me warm

This now comes with a plastic fitting where the plug screws in at not the metal I was expecting. It only has a one year warranty now also.Where is the all rubber product they used to make. Definitely not worth the cost.
