Does not work accurately - cannot be used by artists
I really was looking forward to getting this item. I hoped it could save me the investment into a 1500USD iPad Pro w touch sensitive pen. However, it does not. The pen does only react to longer lines/strokes and not to more detailed & fine strokes. It is probably a great tool for scribbling and kids. But for artsists it is useless.

Funcional

Didn't work with "supported" Medibang app, left behind scratches
I had been looking for a pen with pressure sensitivity to use with my phone for a while. Saw this and thought it was the perfect thing until I actually got to using it. I expected so much and was very disappointed.Issue 1) I primarily use Medibang when working on mobile, so before I bought this I check their website to make sure it was supported. It was, and I was excited because I've been looking for a pen that doesn't need to be charged but still has pressure sensitivity. So I bought the thing and set it up, calibrated it as instructed, and got to drawing. It was great!... for about ten seconds when it stopped working. I restarted the app, unplugged and replugged it in, restarted my phone. Nothing fixed it for more than ten seconds. I checked online, found a lot of people with similar issues, but no solutions that worked for me. Maybe it worked with Medibang once, but not anymore.I wasn't looking to have to learn a new app just to be able to draw.Issue 2) The touch disk has a small burr on the side, likely from the way it's made. I didn't notice it at first because its very small, when I DID notice it it was because it was leaving scratches all over. Luckily I use a screen protector, but these scratches are bad, I'm going to have to replace the protector due to the scratches causing a lot of distortion. I hope anyone who doesn't use one sees this review before they buyOther Notes:- It's a great idea! Fantastic even! Every artist's dream to be able to use a pen with pressure sensitivity that doesn't require a battery charge in order to use with a mobile device. Unfortunately it has problems- The body of the pen is made out of some really cheap plastic, like the kind they use for Happy Meal toys. At $35 I'm not expecting anything amazing, but I am expecting better than this- It's awkward to hold, kind of feels like I'm drawing with a crayon or a marker. I own a Kamvas 13 for my professional work on PC, the pen that comes with it is roughly the same size and shape of the Sonarpen, but there's just an ever so slight difference in weight that makes the Kamvas pen feel natural and the Sonarpen feel too light. A minor adjustment to the weight close to the tip-end of the pen would probably fix this- The wire tends to get in the way, but that's to be expected with this particular type of pen and not a con. I actually really like the design for the wire and the built-in groove for it in the pen itself, very handy and sleekOverall it's a half-decent pen and a good idea, the execution could be better. I don't think it's worth the $35 price tag. But, don't get it if you want to use it with Medibang, and if you DO buy it check the touch-disk for burrs before you use it, you should be able to sand them down just fine.As for me I'll be returning it in the next couple of days and going back to my non-fancy touch pens until I find a decent bluetooth one.

Had some issues, but I was very impressed
I was pleasantly surprised with how accurate this was for both my android tablet and android phone. The cable is a little annoying and the palm rejection is hit-or-miss, but the pressure sensitivity is great (for apps that actually use the pen's features). On my phone (which is a Galaxy a10e), this pen works great, but I did encounter a weird issue when using it on my Galaxy Tab A7 (2020).On Medibang Paint (great art software, by the way), there's an option that says 'Start using SonarPen' and after about a few seconds of using the pen, lines just won't show on the screen, at all regardless of how hard or light I press the pen across the screen. And yes, I had the pen calibrated before using it on Medibang and even had it recalibrated a few times, only to be met with the same results.Maybe it's because of the matte screen protector I have on my tablet, but what makes it even weirder is when I go to the option that says 'Stop using SonarPen', the pen works just fine, as long as I have it plugged in. Aside from the pressure sensitivity not working when I do that, I would still say that this pen is good for folks who want to get into digital drawing on a budget, but just know that this pen ain't perfect.
