After using the Alpicool CF45 fridge for a few weeks, I can confidently say it's been a flawless addition to my setup. Bought for camping to use as fridge to replace electric coolbox , online reviews of similar versions suggested temperature regulation was not as good as more expensive fridges. However worked really well , displayed temp did vary by +/- 2 deg but is massively better than our old coolbox , set at 1 deg kept everything near that even when tent temp was 36 deg. when we first arrived at campsite display read 26deg but was at 1 in about 45 mins. Not silent but still quieter than the old coolbox and not running all the time.Cheaper than many other apparently identical brands ,seems to be a great buy only long term reliability still to prove , but on first usage appears to be well made and has good performance

Up to date it's working great and it got cold very quickly and I also like the fact that you can use it as a freezer. Definitely worth the money.

This little fridge is perfect, value for money, easy to use. Works well and gets to desired temp quickly.Only thing for me and I say this because I have had these camping fridges before is that it is quite noisy. If you were camping and it was close to your tent it would keep you awake.Otherwise it is well worth it.

I love the size of this fridge, a lot of room for both frozen and refrigerated food. I love the Bluetooth app where you can set the temperature accurately; from -20 to +20. This means it can be used as a freezer and then at a push of a button a fridge. Out motorhome has a decent sized fridge, but the freezer is tiny. Now we can load up with frozen food for those longer breaks. Good quality and well made.

Nice bit of kit keeps thing frozen while away on camp. Would recomend

Bought this for summer car trips and for extra fridge space at home and love it! It arrived slightly damaged due to Amazon delivery placing the box on its side but Alpicool support was super quick to resolve the issue.It's best for supplementary fridge storage at home, mainly beer and wine but it's really large, and easily fits a case of wine plus some more. There are two compartments, one sits at the temperature set on the control unit, and the other seems to be between 5-10° warmer. I usually set it to 4° and right now during autumn the 2nd compartment is 9°. I usually use it for chocolate or jam that I want to keep cooler than room temperature but not fridge cold.In the car it doesn't perform quite as well as I was hoping. During the summer heatwave after turning off it got up to 40° within the hour, still colder than the car but didn't retain the cold as well as a coolbox or similar might. As my car cuts power to 12v sockets when the ignition is off I wasn't able to keep it running or test the auto-cut off when the car battery is low. Getting cold again isn't as quick as the description claims when empty but if you have cold shopping it works a lot better. Takes about 1hr from 25° to get down to 5° when empty using standard mode.Overall I really do love it, it's super handy as extra space at home and great for long roadtrips in the car or for picnics. I'd recommend pre-packing it and leaving it plugged in at home and then moving it to the car. Will definitely come in handy for Christmas when extra storage is a must. The bluetooth and app control is a nice feature but I barely ever use it. The compressor can be quite loud but we have it next to the sofa and it's totally fine. Definitely worth getting if you're looking for a portable fridge. Price is incredible for what you get
