Doesn’t seem to fit very well
Bought this because I have a similar version in my 3 series and it’s flawless. This model doesn’t seem to stay secure even when the set screws are fully threaded in. Longer set screws would probably fix the issue.

Meh
It’s just Meh - that’s all I can say. It isn’t necessarily better than a magnet mounted on my air vent. The only improvement is my phone doesn’t get hot from the air vent. This sits well and mounts cleanly - but the magnet seems a bit weak to hold behind my case. I keep expecting it to fall. When my phone is not in place the ball looks just as dumb as the air vent mounted magnet. It’s just Meh - better than nothing but not as great as a BMW factory install.

Turned orange in less than 2 months
Product works well and blends in nicely but it turned orange from the sun in under two months. Definitely use some mounting tape behind it because the set screws included leave some room to rattle. I’ll have to wrap it in vinyl or something now.
