Highly Recommend for MIG&TIG Welders
Very clear lens for the price. Probably not suitable for long term stick or metal core; for a ten shade it does get a bit too bright. welding, but for hardwire mig or tig it really is a lovely lens. Somewhat durable, I’ve dropped my hood from 6 foot horses and this lens has stayed intact. I just ordered a far more expensive lens at $40, but I bought 2 more of these in case I don’t like that pricy one as much. That should tell you what I think about these lenses. For less than $20 these lenses are on par with a Miller elite set to 9.

One of the best lenses ever
Great lens. Was hoping to get an amber arc as other reviews had posted. Unexpectedly I got a something similar to the wens lens and I'm very happy with it. I find it frustrating to use anything else now. I also purchased a 9 shade which for most applications wasn't dark enough and left my eyes a little sore. But the 10 is superb ! I can't see it being much better than this, as long as the lens isnt mucked up its perfect !If possible put a clear lens in front and behind.

Great Deal
Arrived undamaged, works great, the weld puddle is very clear, has a few minor manufacturing imperfections on the off side of the glass what appears to be dust, but I cant clean it off, un-noticeable when using, but if your alittle OCD you just cant quite make it perfectly clean, again I don't notice it when its in the helmet and 2 inches from my eyes. Its crystal clean at that point, and very crisp during operation, I will buy more as needed

Clarity was pretty good.
Worked really well in the Hobart 770095 goggle. Clarity was pretty good.

Great lense for the money
I’ve welded with $160 passive lenses and this one isn’t quite that clear but for the price It’s unbeatable, I’m tough on my hood and I’d rather break a 10$ lense than a 160$ lense.

Good lens
So years back a fellow welder always used gold coated welding lenses. He said it gave better contrast when welding. My eyes were good then. But now I can see (pardon the pun) why this welder was right... the gold coating helps with seeing what you are welding.

Not a shade 10
I really like how clear I can see the weld pool and the surrounding but I end up seeing bright spots afterwards ever since I started using this lens. I was running at 120 amps so a shade 10 should be enough of a shade to cover me but it's not protecting me enough. If you run anything from a more than 100 amps, is get a shade 11 with this brand.
