I received the tins last night. Upon immediate inspection, found that all tins were received in perfect condition, no dents or scratches at all. Both lids fit securely.A nice classic round silver tin.I buy my favorite loose teas by the pound and decant into smaller size tins, rather than opening up a big bag daily. This size fits comfortably in my hand, not too big, bulky or awkward. Just perfect!I comparison shopped and read reviews before deciding on this one. The price was good, no paint to chip off, and condition of the tins received were key factors along with the snugness of the fit of the lids.I decanted my fresh tea leaves into the first tin last night, so making any claim about the preservation of freshness is too soon to make. But it is a tight fit, and that's a good sign for maintaining freshness.If I am looking to buy more at a later date, I'll be buying this particular tin again.

As advertised in terms of appearance, size, and contents. Great seal. Perfect for a humid climate like mine. Came well packaged and without any dents or flaws. All lids (2 per canister, i.e. outer and inner) present.I bought these for holding loose leaf tea. These can hold *a lot* of loose leaf tea.Overpriced? I think so, but I didn't find anything equivalent in this size at a cheaper price.Can you write on these tins and later erase the writing? At these prices, I am not willing to find out. I bought "chalkboard" label stickers instead.

I am both pleased and displeased with these canisters. First, they're smaller than I realized, but that's fine. I think they hold about a cup's worth of tea leaves. If you buy tea a pound at a time, well, you'd have to use a lot of these.I washed them in the dishwasher when I got them. By the time they were dry, there was rust! Just a little bit, where the water had pooled on one side of the inner lids, around the screw holding the stem. I wasn't pleased by that, but it wasn't a fluke -- every single one of them did it. In the future if I wash them, I'll make sure I hand dry them immediately.Other than that, these guys do what you want. They hold your tea in what appears to be an airtight container, perhaps better than most other containers, given the double lid arrangement. Just add labels so you can remember what's in each canister, and you're good to go.I recommend cautiously due to smaller than I wanted and the rust issue. Just be aware of both, and you're fine.

These tins are gorgeous! I love that they have an inner lid to keep the tea extra fresh! The color is stunning. I bought little chalk board stickers and a rose gold metallic chalk pen to mark the flavors. They are made so nice and look much more expensive than they were!

There are so many tea canisters to choose from and they all look the same. I decided on this brand and I am satisfied.The product is well finished. I use these canisters to store different types of green tea and the 12 Fluid Oz canisters (4 1/2" high and nearly 3" in diameter) work well for the quantities I usually purchase.The air tightness is very good. Chalkboard label stickers are perfect to identify the content of each canister and stick without problem. The only issue I have is that you cannot really stack the canisters on top of each other, you can but they slide.

It fits my 100g yamamasa ogurayama matcha and still have more space, maybe 150-200g will fit this

The media could not be loaded. Smaller than I thought. Took 4 to store 1lb bag of loose leaf black tea. But it's air tight and double sealed which i like to keep the tea fresh. Still will keep them to store herbs or whatever in the future.

Same problem as other reviews… missing lids. Only 4 of the 6 had both inner and outer lids.
