I had cracks before, and now I have black cracks
I am relatively handy when it comes to all things DIY, but either I just don't get the concept of this repair kit or it doesn't work for me.First of all, on the cover is a burnt orange couch. I've been an artist my entire life, and I see no way this kit would ever have created a perfectly (or even remotely) blended burnt orange from the colors included, which are black, white, and dark brown.Second, I grew up helping my Mom, a very talented seamstress, make and repair clothing and craft items, and this glue doesn't seem any different than what I'd imagine watered-down Alene's Tacky Glue to be. But be gentle with the dispensing of the glue. It is very runny. My cracks weren't big enough to use the denim swatch of fabric they included. So I followed the directions and was rather underwhelmed with the results. After completing the repairs as instructed for two distinctly different sections of couch, I decided to just try and apply the glue as a filler straight from the bottle. That seemed to work better. I let it settle in the cracks and dry for an hour and a half, undisturbed. The good thing about the glue is you can peel it up and bead I together with your fingers, which is what I did. The parts the filled in the cracks were not flush or flat, so I tried to file them a bit. (There is no sandpaper or board included, by the way.) it didn't really help, so then I moved to the black paint, no color mixing needed.All-in-all, I feel that the cracks I had before are now just black cracks. Maybe they are less noticable from afar, but I would not recommend this for undetectable repairs on seat cracks and rips from normal useage and wear. Looks pretty terrible.

Creates a new surface
I was skeptical about this product. However....it worked very well to smooth over the surface wear and cat marks on the ottoman to the chair I am repainting. When I paint over the new surface I suspect it will look brand new.The only complaint is the consistency of each of the cups were not the same. The black was almost solid. I wish it came in larger sizes. I'm doing 2 leather chairs that my late grandmother bought us almost 12 yrs ago. The leather is destroyed but the chair itself is good. I want to keep them around because my grandmother bought them.

Disappointed
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product on January 27, 2022, to repair the console in my car. I thought the price was okay. I just got around to opening the products in the kit today March 14, 2022. I wasn't able to use any of the items in the kit other than the alcohol pads to clean the console because the Tear Mender Adhesive, the black and brown colors were dried out. Disappointed with this product because it shouldn't have been in this condition in the time frame of having it, less than two months. Next time I will be sure to check out the product upon arrival.

Not worth it.
I don't even want to waste my energy writing a review of this...But, I bought this to help finish a project I am working on. I previously had bought a bunch of "Furniture Clinic" products and was really impressed... but I was crunched for time and didn't want to wait for delivery. This kit is a waste of money. Don't buy it. I'm further behind on my project. I primarily bought it for the glue - and that is rather subpar.

Glue does what it says.
This was used to close a couple of short splites on an SUV leather seat. It did that job.Lessons learned:1. Be careful putting the glue onto the tweed patch you work under the tear. The leather won't move after that. Try to strech the tweed before putting the leather down on it. Since I didn't do that, the splits didn't quite close.2. The glue surface has a rubbery feel when dry, so doesn't slide like the rest of the leather seat surface.
