It's always been on my mind to update this review because if their quick response.If your on the fence: just buy this duvet! We have had it for about a year now and it still looks great. Multiple washes and its SO CUTE in my son's room!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I was very unsure about ordering bedding online because its hard to tell. And no one really posted pictures. (see my pictures I included lots!) I kept looking and reading all the reviews and definitely way over thought this purchase. I originally wanted the BlueBlue Cars Duvet the one that was almost exactly like this one but it has rainbows along with cars on the pattern. Well by the time I FINALLY made my decision the rainbow car one was sold out! (My fault for hemming and hawing so long.)I got this one and LOVED IT!! Bonus the twin size comes with 2 pillow covers!! Which most companies only provide 1. So a happy suprised. My pictures of it on my sons gray bunk bed doesnt really do it justice. Super cute in person. I paired it with a navy fuzzy throw accent blanket and a navy blue comforter for top bunk. Both from Target. I ordered the Utopia duvet insert $30 from amazon to put inside this car duvet cover. Works perfect for kids bed. (A few reviews complained it was a thin sheet. Ummmm ya. It is. It's a duvet cover. That is the whole point) I love how this comes with a zipper and ties for the insert!!I opened it up, put it in the wash on cold, gentle cycle. My washer does not have the agitator. I air dried it over my railing per instructions which say to "dry flat". I was assuming it says to dry flat because this is 100% cotton. Depending on how big your duvet insert is, if you put the car cover duvet in dryer I imagine it would shrink just a bit.**FOR SOME REASON MY DUVET RIPPED!!!I'm not sure when this happened. In the wash? Maybe it was always like that and I didnt Notice before washing??I really love everything about this duvet. It seems good quality. The material is nice. I just wish mine didnt rip. (See pictures) I put it on my sons bed anyways because he was so excited to get his big boy bed.I AM HOPING SELLER CAN HELP ME OUT WITH THIS!! I WOULD LOVE TOGIVE THIS ALL 5 STARS. Because I really think if you are in the fence just buy it!! It is so cute. Maybe i just got a lemon.** most duvets expensive or cheap that i have bought are always a BIT big for the insert. Just in case it was not a bit big I dried On the railing. Once I put the Utopia divet insert inside- yes there is definitely room. My point is, I would go ahead and put in dryer next time. Because if it does shrink an inch or so, it will still be roomy enough for insert. (Hopefully helpful if you dont want to worry about hassle of hang drying)

This duvet cover is exactly as described. Its very cute and comfortable. Theres ties inside the cover to keep the duvet insert in place. The opening is a zipper. The reviewers who gave this duvet cover a bad review don't know what a duvet cover is. It's not a comforter or a blanket. A duvet cover is basically two sheets sewn together like a pillow case. You still need the duvet insert to put inside the cover.
