CuLator Metal Eliminator and Stain Preventer for Pools & Spas-3 Month Supply

We were told that there were too many metals in our pool water, so we purchased "Metal Out" - and then we were told that we shouldn't use it until we also had these little packets to toss in the skimmers. Just rinsed the filters out and the metals all seemed to collect together and gelled. Filters were covered in a green "slime". Rinsed off and pool is crystal clear! Love it, will order on-line before purchasing in the store any time!

These do actually work as a sequestering agent - but it may take some time. I've been a pool owner for 22 years, I've not "seen it all", but have seen "most of it all". I had what appeared to iron stains forming on the vinyl liner and steps - remember to first ensure the metal stays re-dissolved into the water...vitamin C powder worked great for me. I used 2 CULater Paks in the skimmer at a time, changing them out monthly for 3 months. They were turning bright red by the end of each month, but eventually taped off to where they are barely revealing any color and the metal staining has subsided. The guide says that red indicates Cobalt - not sure how cobalt gets into the water. These things worked, but not overnight.

I tested my pool water for copper prior to the use of this product and it was in excess of 1 ppm. I bought 3 of these packets and put them all in the basket of the pool pump. I tested almost daily, then weekly and now 2 months later the levels of copper in my pool have not changed a bit. Complete waste of money.

Turned my crystal clear pool orange because I drained 10 inches and refilled to try to cool it down during a hot summer. I have well water with a good deal of iron. Can't see it unless its a large body of water but I was bummed. I tried chemicals and didn't have any luck. I dropped one of these in my 20 x 40 pool (w/deep end) skimmer basket and let the filter system roll. 24 hours later the water was crystal clear again. I have no other explanation other than this thing.I have a vinyl salt water pool and I had some rust stains on the bottom from a screw that fell off the solar cover roller. This did NOT remove the stain. I used large vitamin C tablets like sand paper and they came off. I don't think these will remove stains but they will clarify water that looks a bit like apple cider....

Finally opened what was supposed to be a 3 pack for 3 months supply but only 2 in the plastic wrap...I guess I need to double check in the future as I feel they got one over on me...the product that is there 2 of suppose to be 3 are fine. Just got to double check asap they don't pull a fast one on you too..
