Sie können als Duftstoff für Kosmetika dienen oder als Duftöl in einer Duftlampe, usw. Welches Öl sich am besten wofür eignet hängt immer auch ein wenig von der Duftintensität und Konsistenz ab. Dieses Öl kommt in einer 15 ml Braunglasflasche, um es vor Licht zu schützen. Es ist relativ dickflüssig und ich würde das Tropfteil nicht einsetzen, sondern den Inhalt lieber mit einer Pipette entnehmen. Es ist aber auch sehr dickflüssig und zäh. Daher empfiehlt es sich auch, den Inhalt zunächst im Wasserbad etwas anzuwärmen.Der Duft des Öls ist nicht sehr intensiv. In einer Duftmischung jedoch rundet er Düfte sehr gut ab. Es ist ein warmer, kuscheliger und vanilliger Duft. Um das Öl in Kosmetik zu Einsatz zu bringen oder um es in einer Duftmischung unterzubringen empfiehlt sich generell eine Verdünnung des Produkts herzustellen. Dazu wird Ethanol empfohlen. Im Parfüm dient es als Fixateur für warme, süßliche Düfte. Da das Öl ein Destillat aus dem richtigen Peru-Balsam ist, gilt es als unbedenklich. In meine Kosmetika würde ich es dennoch nicht geben. Aber als Parfümkomponente finde ich es perfekt. Parfüms muss man schließlich nicht zwingend auf die Haut sprühen.·•★ Preis/ Leistung ★•·Der Preis von 9,49 € ist absolut in Ordnung. Das Produkt ist für gewöhnlich sogar etwas teurer.·•★ Fazit ★•·Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne, denn es ist genauso wie anderes Perubalsamöl sehr gut zu verwenden.

Smelling nice balsam, the smell on itself was new to me.If you want to use it in a diffuser, first warm it up in a microwave to make the balsam more liquid.This one is more ment to mix it with creme, those kind of products.The scent is staying for a long time, with this brand Greenwood you cannot do wrong!

I do like Greenwood essential oils, in fact I'm a bit of a fan, and couldn't wait to try this Peru balsam oil. It's steam distilled and is extracted from tree bark. I wanted a good quality oil, and this didn't let me down. Peru balsam oil has a number of uses. Firstly though, a warning: people with sensitive skin should use this sparingly, in a carrier oil base, because it can produce a reaction. However, used properly, it is efficacious in treating wounds, skin ailments, asthma, even scabies. It can be used for dental problems too, though I prefer not to risk it internally. The oil is good value and comes in a box with a push in pipette.

Peru Balsam, also known as Surinam, Black or Indian balsam, has a wide variety of uses in the commercial world, such as fixing scents in perfumes or hardening soaps and as flavouring in wines or cakes.On its own it has a musky, slightly sweet smell with a tiny twang of mint. It is very, very thick, hence the advisory note of warming it up prior to use. However, as microwaves denature foods, I would personally use an oven or some hot water to maintain the purity of the oil.Greenwood Essential provides the largest array of oils I have ever encountered. Moreover, they are good quality and barring the carrier oils, which are always over-priced, are excellent value for money as a general rule.
