High-quality Salt
I bought this salt to give my Prime rib a nice crust. It worked perfectly. Excellent taste. The size of the crystals are exactly what I was looking for. Perfect. Highly recommend. Christmas 2024.

Elevate your baked goods
I really love this salt, it's flakier than most "flaked" sea salt, it looks really beautiful and adds a nice contrast to baked goods. However I will say a little goes a long way in flavor, this is some very salty salt is weird as that sounds lol

Good and Salty
This sea salt has a wonderful natural flavor to it and will not leave a bad taste in your mouth like unnatural and bleached salts. It cooks down well and we love to use it on veggies.Didn't give it a 5 star because the flakes are quite large and you can feel the crunch when you eat with food. I have taken the salt and used my mortar and pestle to grind it down and it is now perfect for cooking and topping.

Very good flake sa salt
I may have already rated. I have been using flaked sea salt for 20 years. It took a week or two for me to understand the importance of this as an after cooking finishing salt. Avoid, as in do not use this as a cooking or marinade salt. Flaked sea salt is for a final touch. It is not a garnish. It sinks into the surface area of a dish such as pasta, meats, items french fries-cheeses-fish etc, citrus sauces, be. laight with this salt. It is very salty so a little goes a long way. If you use it to finish a pan sauté or pan fried item sprinkle around it so that the oils or pan sauce absorb the salt. Once I learned how to use this salt it became and still is a salt I keep on the counter using it as a finishing salt. Practice. Use this by your own explorations. Do not be bold, use it with the lightest touch. It is so very easy to oversalt a dish. I learned by customer response. That was rough love. The pastas were not ruined, they just could not understand why I was so heavy with salt when this was never an issue with my food. Yes, I did send out perfect replacement pastas and comped a few meals. Costly education. Take heed of my experience so you avoid this mistake. You will find this particular salt a favorite. Have fun. Expand on your knowledge of how salt works. Highly recommended.
