Best Marble Run
My kids have had several marble runs over the years and these are the only ones I'll ever try again. These are especially fantastic if you're using them on a rug or carpet. The white based is my favorite part. We can move the whole thing carefully without anything falling apart. The pieces snap together easily. There have been a couple of pieces my smallest kids have needed help with, but overall this is a kid friendly product. We've purchased a few different sets and I really like the fact each set is fun in it's own way.I've found that most of the normal marble runs are not sturdy, fall down easily, especially once they're very tall, and break easily. I've never had a single piece from this set break. They won't fall over easily, unless they're quite tall and have little support. From parent to parent though, the ones with sounds are loved by my children, but as a parent I could do without the noises. My kids have a 7 year age range and all of them enjoy building with these, however the younger kids seem to be entertained the longest.

Made very well! Directions make it easy! My 4&6 yr olds loves it!
I bought this for my 4yr old grandson for Christmas. It was probably one of his favorite gifts. This product comes with a bunch of small pieces so if you have a child who likes to put things in their mouth then this isn't for you. I was a little intimidated at first looking at all of the pieces that came with it. However the directions are perfect and even assembling the biggest one took only minutes. We built all of them on my grandson's Little Tykes table. The bigger one didn't quite fit on it but we were still able to make it work. Just make sure when building it you're not on carpet and are on a solid flat surface (kids table, dining table, tile/wood flooring). The directions give you 3 assembly options to choose from, a smaller one that probably doesn't even use half of the pieces (I suggest starting with the smallest one because it gives you a chance to get familiar with the product), a medium sized one that uses maybe 3/4 of the pieces and a large one that uses all of them. Once you get familiar with everything you can create your own. My grandson loves being able to pitch in and help put it together. Just make sure the parts that shoot the marbles to make it go through the tracks aren't facing a TV because if they hit it too hard the marbles can fly off. Other than that this is an excellent product for any kid age 4+. It's super durable. This thing will most likely outlive my grandson. They paid attention to the details and it shows!

Go with the ultimate set instead.
For the small amount of extra money the ultimate set has double the stuff. Personally I would go with that if you're just getting one. Besides that, the kid enjoys it, and Dad likes playing it with her.

Great marble run!
My son wanted this as an expansion kit for his ultimate set. Love the versatility and many options for builds of the individual set but also the ability to add onto other ones. He's one happy camper.

Grandma had fun setting this up for 5 year old grandson!
My grandson is almost 5. He wouldnt be able to follow the directions on this to set up the 3 different paths. I did start telling him, I need a yellow one, I need a red slide, or an orange block- and he helped by getting them for me. He loved the space ship and flew it around the house like buzz light year while I finished setting it up. He loved launching the marbles, ( they are more plastic hard then regular marbles ) but, I ended up having to have him find the marbles as they shot across my living room. I am glad I didnt send this to the camper for him to play with, we would have lost every marble. I wish there was a carry case, or bag with a pull string to put this in after we tore it back down, because the box lid wont close after I tried getting all the eices back in it. No biggie- it was fun, and I know everytime he comes over, he is going to want grandma to play it with him! I loved it- Ithink I was more excited to put it together than he was. Great gift to have the littles start exploring their minds with. He will play with it years to come, as long as he doesnt lose the marbles!!
