I love this product. I thought I was getting something cheapish but was surprised and happy to receive the quality that I did. The material is real. Looks very nice on an 18 inch doll.

Apparently my review wasn't accepted, the first time. This probably won't be either. The dress is beautiful. It fit my American Girl doll, no problem. I had said that if I made another purchase I'd merely hope that no hair accessories were included, since it took me almost 45 minutes to fix my doll's hair even half as close to how I wanted it. But I guess a sense of humour is lacking. Anyway, as I also said, I would buy from this company again in future. Excellent, quality product, for a tale as old as time.

I rewrote my review after I realized I was nitpicking this dress to death like a boring adult and not focusing on how a child would value it. My major hang-ups that took away a star was that my dress has this terrible synthetic odor to it, and I'm not a huge fan of the pearls on the bodice. Points in favor: affordability, gloves (difficult to find a Belle dress with gloves), and it resembles the dress it's modeled after. Finding a decent Belle dress is not easy! All in all, a child (or an adult collector) could be very happy with this dress, but if anyone received one that smelled, I'd recommend a hand-wash before dressing it on any dolls, or the odor could transfer. Febreeze did not remove the odor.

I was so happy to see the great quality of materials and to details the beautiful flow to the dress.

This dress is cute for my daughters 18in doll. It was lower quality but good enough for the price and for my daughter. Definitely not the princess look a like and quality I was looking for.

Our toddler is obsessed with Belle, and this dress was a hit. At two years old our toddler cannot put this on the doll without assistance but the dress has held up to being pulled off (not so gently) several times. Good value for the cost.
