Strong, durable, and open/close smoothly and easily
I bought these for connecting various attachments to a cable-type home gym (i.e., a completely indoor use). The 4" size has worked perfectly for this application. The carbiners are strong, durable, and do not rust/discolor. They open and close easily/smoothly.

Very sturdy, easy to open carabiner
We use these on the eyes on the front and back of our pontoon boat to tie that anchor line. It is easier to clip this on and off than tying and untying the rope to the cleats.It is large, bigger than my palm, with plenty of room on the inside diameter for both the rope and the eye.
