The wood is soft and easy to assemble with the screws and screwdriver included in the package (there are no holes in the main frame, only on the stabilizing “legs”, just align appropriately, easy to drive the screw through); they expand well, hold well so far, and prettier-looking than expected. In my experience this wood, albeit soft, holds well in any weather outdoors for many years to come. They are more for decorative purposes, too light to serve as an actual fence or pet gate.

If you are planning on moving these frequently these are not the product you should purchase. These are so fragile.

First off, this was a return from another customer. It still had their shipping label on the other side of the box and the box was taped up.Second, I discovered the reason for the return is the wood was split right off the bat. It will work for what I need because I don’t feel like returning it and only need it to block my dogs from going into a certain room.Third, there are no holes on the gate itself. Only on the feet. If you’re not handy, it would be easy to attach the feet in the wrong position.Fourth, the screw driver they send is a joke. It’s almost the size of the ones you use for eye glasses. I used my drill, but it would’ve been nice to have the right tools to begin with.

Went together easy but feel kind of expensive for quality of product.using till permanent gate up and inside house when I want to block dogs from room without closing doors

The media could not be loaded. Simple and easy gate that stands alone. I could move as needed

It too short and light weight for my requirements.

I had no problem assembling these, but be aware that the wood is very cheap. Watch for splinters. The screwdriver that comes with them is absurdly small. That said, they work for my purposes.
