Can you turn off the blue light?

Yes you can. Just hold the power button for three seconds once you turn on the device and it will turn off the blue light. Do the same to turn it back on again.

What is the noise level in db please?

Loud on full power ... Lower power ok , decibel level similar to a small hand powered hoover

Would it be possible to to adapt this to permanent drainage as I would like to use in a caravan and leave it functioning all the time for 3/4 months

I wouldn’t ‘adapt’ anything electrical it could become a fire hazard . I’d buy the ones that use the crystals or blocks they do a good job of removing moisture from the air
