Even Better than the Flexible Stretch Pomade
I’ll admit it: I’m an R+Co fanboy. I’ve used the Flexible Stretch Pomade for years, and the Super Garden CBD shampoo and conditioner are great. You have to use such a small amount of their products that they are actually a better value than less expensive products. My stylist used this after a recent haircut, and I loved the added hold it provides. It works great and keeps me from needing hairspray on all except the windiest days. And like all their products, it smells great!

Meh!
This didn't work on my fine curly hair at all. I even layered it with my R+ Co Twister curl primer that I love and nothing. Also, there's more packaging than product. The jar is deceiving.

The pudding of hair pomades
Pomade comes in a vast variety of types and presentation. Mousse, clay, paste, gel and now… hair pudding. It goes on smoothly, provides both hold and pliability, and it even smells nice! If you have curly or wavy hair and want emphasize it while providing enough control to look “done,” here’s your hair solution.

Good, but not amazing
I've been fortunate to try many products from R+Co's BLEU line. To be honest, the whole lineup is kind of a mixed bag for me. And I don't especially care for its signature scent, as it skews too masculine for my taste. But! This pomade is one of a few others in this line where the scent is toned down considerably, so that makes me like it more, off the top.My husband and I both tried this product. We both often use texture taffy or pomade products for different reasons. His hair is short and he uses it to style the front and center bits just so. My hair is longish and naturally wavy. I use it as a finishing product, to add extra hold to my waves and to keep down flyaways and halo frizz. We both liked this product. It performed well for both of us. So, thumbs up there. But the price. Fifty-two dollars? This performed the same function, with the same degree of success, as our usual shared, go-to product, which costs about $15. I understand the idea of "premium brand equals premium price," but if you're looking for value equals performance, too, you may not find that here.Now. Don't get me wrong. This is among my top fav products from this whole line. It works well and gives me the results I'd expect. But for the price, I suppose I'd expect my results to be awesome. Instead, they're just OK. Good, but not best-I've-ever-used great.Look, if you're into premium haircare products and your budget allows for the premium price that goes with it, you'll likely find this product a solid option. But if you're looking for a "wow" factor to match the high price tag, I'm afraid you may not find that here.

Arrived torn to bits
I haven’t opened yet but I hope the product is still good. I have used this before and love the product, not thrilled with the condition it arrived in.

WOW! Flexible hold, definition, & shiny hair! ✨
I’m a huge fan of R+Co hair products… mainly for the amazing scent! I was so happy to see that this new BLEU line still has the same pretty scent (which is a totally unisex fragrance). It’s a bit perfumey, so if you’re sensitive to fragrances this may be too much for you.The pomade itself is AWESOME! A little goes a long way. I’ve been using this on my son’s short hair while damp, and letting it air dry into a style that holds for hours. It makes his hair so unbelievably shiny and never looks or feels greasy or weighed down. I can get lots of flexible definition, spikes, or a more tousled look using this. If I brush his hair out after it dries, his hair still holds its’ shape but feels super soft. I even think it gives his hair more volume! No helmet head.I tried it on my own shoulder-length hair. On dry hair, it gives my layers the piece-y look I’m always going for. The shine factor is out of this world. If I use it on my hair while damp and then blow dry, I get tons of volume! Never flaky, crunchy, or dry.* USE SPARINGLY! Start with a teeny amount and build from there. If you mist your hair or wet your fingertips when it’s dry, it seems to reactivate.Highly recommend this BLEU line. It’s a uper expensive, but totally worth the splurge!Hope this helps. 😉

Sticky and very white, okay but not worth the price
This is an okay styling product if you like its consistency, but it's just not remotely worth the price. Packaged in a lovely little gold paper box, its plastic jar is attractively designed and, unlike some of this brand's other products, easy to open. (There's no indication that the jar's lid twists off, like many of the brand's packages, whose form-over-function designer provided no affordances for their use, but it's fortunately not too much of a puzzle unless you happen to have it next to their other packages, which have push-pop and/or pull-off lids that look exactly the same.) In the jar, the product is a fairly gooey, extremely sparkly white gel-like paste with the consistency of a very plasticky toothpaste; it spreads in the hands easily and it must be rubbed into the hair heavily and repeatedly, because it's so heavily whitened that it shows far too much, in white streaks, until you rub it in. The hold is fairly light compared to some, especially given the gel-like consistency, but it does have a bit of stickiness that I found lasted and felt a bit unpleasant in the hair. All in all, it's not my favorite, but it's a usable product; but I find that it offers basically no advantages over products sold for $5 or $10 or $20. At this price, it doesn't seem special or worth it at all.
