The perfect pillow

4th Time is the Charm! I ordered 4 different brands of Queen Soft Latex Pillows. This is the only one that is actually soft and the height is lower and thus for the shorter neck of a 5'2" woman. What's not to love? I have used nothing but Latex foam pillows as an adult. So much better and well worth the extra cost because they last for years!!!!

The pillows were an excellent purchase and I’m happy to have found them. They are supportive but not hard and we have slept better since the first night using them. Although we have a king bed, the queen size of these works very well.

I've used latex pillows exclusively almost all my life - over fifty years in fact! They last for years and years, but the ones I had were starting to yellow and get a bit crumbly on the surface - time to replace! This one is the perfect firmness - on the soft side - I am a back and side sleeper - often put my arm or hand under my head/face when on my side. This one is perfect. Firmer latex triggers neck discomfort in the morning. This one doesn't. BUT - the big BUT on this one is that it really does smell "bad" when new. First I put the pillow (with the cover) in the dryer on a no heat "air only" setting for a bit.... didn't help at all. Then I removed and washed the cover and aired the pillow itself for two days. It still had a bit of residual odor when I started using it, but it wasn't objectionable since the cover and pillowcase were fresh smelling. The seller does include a little info sheet with the pillow disclosing that the latex may have an unpleasant odor that will dissipate with time so at least I knew to expect it. GREAT pillow that I expect to have for years to come - just be prepared for the smell when new. I'd give five stars but I've never had a latex pillow with this issue before and really found the odor foul - the seller claims that it is the nature of all natural latex.... I dunno.

The absolute most comfortable pillow ever made!!!

I've finally found my forever pillow!!! Yes, it's a bit pricey, but SO worth it!!! It'll take a while for it to wear out, but... IF IT DOES, I'll be purchasing another one like it! I've never felt anything like it before. It actually breathes, so the latex doesn't make you feel like it's non breathable. It has tiny holes in it, and then it's covered in a zip-up pillow case.

This talalay product is too soft for me. I ended up with one being soft and boy you might as well be laying on a piece of paper. I don’t know if it’s the companies formula or what but have used latex pillows for decades..I’m not sure this will hold up to 10-15 years as others have. If you order from their store, you can get the Dunlop version in the different firmness levels. I need 3 more pillows but may try another store, or if my local foam store might be less expensive. Not all carry latex but I can put my hands on the latex foam in both types and see what I think will work and be less expensive. I got a friend to do this and she saved a bunch in memory foam mattress and pillows. She just made or purchased a fleece zipper pillow case and put her good silk cases on them and wam bam… money saved for new dress and heels. These online shops are very expensive and not sure they are worth it.Latex foam is great if well made, and it lasts for super long time compared to memory foam, etc.

If you are like me, you are probably on here trying to find answers to your questions to help make a decision about this pillow! I’ll try to help, remembering what I was looking in the reviews from other purchasers. When I decided that this was the brand I was going to go for among other organic latex pillows, my dilemma was about the size and the smell. I’m very sensitive to scents in general, so I was skeptical, but this pillow is just fine in that respect! I can’t tell you that there isn’t a smell at all, it’s becoming more and more faint and it doesn’t bother me at all since it’s super minimal. I’m sure it will go away with time or I’ll go nose-blind to it. Being a sensitive to all smells this worked out great for me! I did air it out for about 5 days, I took its cotton cover off and put it in the guest bedroom and waited 5 days to use it. Now about the size. I went with the FIRM. I’m glad that I did. I am a side sleeper and need support. The amazing thing about this pillow is that it doesn’t squash, it has this sort of bounce back up feeling. It provides amazing support for the neck. At first it was uncomfortable a bit, and after the first night my neck was a bit sore, but now I can’t go back to lower pillows. If you have broader shoulders or a bigger person you must do firm. Because I was curious about how medium is like, later I ordered it too. Shipping takes a while. So I expedited my first pillow and it came within a week, but I didn’t do that with my second pillow and it took about 2 weeks. The MEDIUM pillow is too soft for me. I’m 5,3 female. I think you’d have to be pretty small person to be good with Medium, unless you don’t want too much support and like your pillow flatter, then you want to get the medium and not the firm. If you like your pillow flatter the firm may feel weird. I like how my head is now supported at a 90 degree angle. I am sending the medium back because it’s a bit too thin like I mentioned already. I definitely recommend trying this pillow out! Quality is great and I feel like it’s really helping with the neck tension. Good luck 😁
