I love the way Alan Jackson sings the songs they are song as they were when I was a kid he doesn’t try to sing them like other artist w I’ll. other artist 9 1/2 times out of 10 will crucify these songs. Call me old-fashioned if you will but that’s the way I like things and I wouldn’t have it any other way and if you don’t like the way he sings, don’t listen, you don’t have to buy his CDs.

Jim Reeves is probably one of the most passionate Gospel singer you could listen too. He definitely has the Heart & Soul with such a mellow baritone voice that will sure to Stir your Spiritual listening. Buy this CD & you will feel the message go deep into your soul. You can't get too much better than Jim Reeves for the Godly message of our thankfulness to the Lord! Sit back & get ready for a truly wonderful rendition of some of the good old gospel favorites. It is certainly too bad Jim Reeves was taken from us in a plane crash way too early. Listen & I think you will agree he moves your spiritual soul like no other.

Unlike most CDs, this one has 20 complete tracks of traditional and more modern gospel songs. The smooth Gentleman Jim treatment makes each tune special. Some songs - such as I'll Fly Away, A Beautiful Life, which are usually done at a fast tempo are made to sound brand new with the more accurate tempo Jim provides. Even the Trouble In The Amen Corner is made very "touching". I am especially fond of How Long Has It Been and Where Do I Go From Here.The price was very appropriate, shipping was fast, and the CD was shipped in a protective bubble envelope. I will buy again from this source.

Love Jim Reeves and his songs. Love the hymns, they are someones testimony.

I ordered this CD for my sister in AL who recently lost her husband. He was a huge Jim Reaves fan especially his gospel music. I thought this CD would be a sweet reminder of her husband. The CD came in just a few days and she was delighted. She says her favorite song on it is I'd Rather Have Jesus.

I live in NYC but i was born & raised in London, UK. I remember so well how much my parents, especially my mother, loved Jim Reeves very much. As a kid they would play his music all the time & because of my youth, i thought it was 'old people' music. As my Mum always said, 'You'll appeciate these things when you get older'.How right she was. I recently purchased Jim's 'Best Of' and Gospel CD for my Mum & i mailed it to her. A few days later she called & said, 'I told you, you'd appreciate certain things when you get older'! (lol) Jim's music is soothing for soul.
