Alpicool fridge freezer
I find the duel zone very useful, while keeping frozen food frozen in -15 approx and also food and drinks at around +3 despite ambient temps of 20 to 30 degrees cThis is my second fridge being the 50 ltr versionThe temps I find are a little less stable than the previous 36 ltr version, I rely on this product as I work away for up to 3 weeks at a time, in a truck, at home on mains I can hear it operating very quietly, but once in the truck it is almost silent and don’t notice any noise from it, I have it running on the 24 v over night, and have no issues sleeping next to it.when parked, no engine running for up to 15 hours, and able to start the engine so power usage I find acceptable, it’s worth mentioning that I use cab lights and power inverter for tv, laptop etc also when parkedThe 50 ltr has enough room for a weeks food, for me with some extra food left overThe 12v/24v wires often break so I always carry a spare, I have been running these fridges for around 4 years, yes they are a bit bigger and heavier to lift, but you get used to itI find the app feature useful at times,Bad points, I think the insulation could be better especially the lid,While in use it requires power for the cooling althou it will cope for an hour or so being off and stay cold it’s best to keep it onthe handles are not the best quality but do the jobThe display doesn’t have a night mode option, so always remains lit, a sock or t towel over it at night works a treatWhen I ordered my 50ltr the first one was faulty the actual temps were a lot colder than the displayed temps, temp was -20 while display said -8The return process was difficult, I had to pay for a new one then return the faulty one requesting a refund throu Amazon, it took over 2 weeks to be refundedAlpicool still have not responded to my efforts to contact them a number of weeks laterThe wheels are useful for me to roll it to where I need to take it from car to truck etcWhile in use it cools one side then the other side when in duel zone use, simply put the divider in the middle, the fridge knows it’s there and turns on second compartment automaticallyIt runs on mains power with a mains power leadThere is a second lead for the 12v and 24v useTemps that are similar to a domestic home fridge/freezer, while able to use as a temporary home fridge freezer or on the move, ideal for truck drivers or people who are away from home a lot as I doThis is not a cool box, it is a fridge freezer known as a compressor fridgeIf u thinking of buying a cool box from a shop because it’s cheaper, dontLook for a compression fridge with temps to -15 or below,I keep food, medicine, drinks in mine ice cream and ice pops,Halfords cool box are a waiste of money because they offer cool to 5 degrees lower than ambient tempWhen in duel zone use you can turn off a zone by pressing and holding both + and - buttonsThe L shaped section must always be the coldest sectionThe battery protection inset to M hold the settings button till it beeps and flashes repress to adjustFor eco mode short press settings button to adjustOver all I would recommend this product to family and friends and others aswellI love the ability to be sat in a traffic jam on a hot day and get the ice cream on the go and nice cold drinks :)I hope I have been able to do a proper review and not a useless sales pitch as I’m not a salesman, and that anyone reading this will understand that i have put a lot of thought and time in to writing this to try to help others who are thinking about buying this over a cool box,A cool box has a fan which is noisy and blows slightly cooled air in, and high battery power consumptionThis relies on a pump to circulate gases around internal pipes to cool, with a fan to cool the pump

Great value dual-zoned fridge/freezer
Great value for money, very versatile and not too heavy, even when filled. Fabulous function of being able to have the zones at 2 different temperatures. The box kept everything at the desired temp, albeit it wasn't especially warm outdoors (20°C max) but it didn't have to kick often to maintain temp and was quiet when it did. When the box has been opened or new items added, we found it was best to kick the mode up to max, but then you can put it back in eco to maintain. A small game of fridge Tetris was required when packing it, but who doesn't love that abiutany camping trip! It fitted a surprisingly large number of items in it. Easily space for all the essentials. Absolutely fantastic buy for the money, would thoroughly recommend.

Great For Camping
Only used once so far but very happy with my purchase. Freezer and fridge work very well on 240v. Haven’t tried it on 12v yet

Great unit
We used this as an additional fridge to our motorhome on holiday and as an occasional fridge at home. We managed to run this on a solar panel with a rechargeable battery pack for a week whilst away - which was great as we were off grid. I really like that the two sections can be out to different temperatures and the removable baskets make it very easy to clean. So why only 4 stars? The instructions are few and far between, even after downloading the app.For instance setting the temperatures is a bit fiddley - it appears you have to set one section as equal or at a lower temperature than the other, which is fine, but it would be good to know. Also there is a plastic separator between the sections, which looks like you could add water and freeze it ahead of using the unit, but there's nothing to say whether you should or shouldn't do this.Other than that, I think it's great

Brilliant in our VW Campervan
This fridge is amazing for the price. It gets down to temperature quickly and holds there really well. We found the Bluetooth connectivity really useful because it can be plugged in at the back of the van and you can adjust the temperature via the app whilst sat up front. It doesn't use much power at all and runs without any problems on our leisure system (175w solar). The system is not the quietest on the market but it is far from been loud, the odd times it kicks in during the night isn't a problem for us at all.You can fit alot in this fridge with/without the divider in and having the smaller side as a freezer is really handy during the summer trips out to the beach ect.We were tempted to buy a fitted fridge but are so happy with choose this option instead. It's so handy to have a portable option and been on wheels means we can easily take it in/out of the van when needed.
