If In The Market For Camping Bowl and Cup- Best Option Right Here
I purchased this product because I was looking for way for me and my girlfriend to eat more efficiently when backpacking. I usually just eat out of the cooking pot but this causes a long delay when there are two of us. I needed something to be able to pour my soup into so I could start the next meal.I came across the Sea to Summit cup and bowl and decided to give it a shot. I have to say I’ve been happy with the results. The cup and bowl fold up and can be stored in the pouch easily. They are easy to clean and can store easily into my backpack. Both items can handle the heat of boiling water, which is very important. I have to say I did not really see anything that compares in terms of capacity of the bowl. They have cheaper alternatives but they hold like half as much liquid so it’s worth paying a little extra. The inside of the cup also have measurements as you can see in the picture, and this comes in handy when preparing your food while at camp. Now again I only bring this along when my girlfriend comes but trust me it is very handy in those occasions.Pros:- Lightweight, only 5.6 ozs- Large bowl- 22ozs or 660 mls, much larger than competitors- Measurements on the inside of the cup in cups and mls- Packs up small- Easy to cleanCons- More of a luxury item, you can just eat of the cookware- Kind of pricey for really a rubber bowl and cup- Personally would have preferred if the storage pouch was not open mesh so nothing could get into the pouch when sealedWhile I say that this is a little pricey when you consider capacity, weight, and functionality. I would deem this the best buy out of all the options. It does exactly what you need to do the best.

PERFECT FOR CAMPING OR HIKING
This is absolutely one of the best gifts that you can buy for a backpacker/hiker. Extremely light weight. I love that they collapse to save space. Also the netting housing for the bowl and cup is great; it holds both items as well as my utensils. They are made very tough and sturdy. Excellent quality. Also, they are super easy to clean. You can just wipe it out with a paper towel or hanky, and then wash it with soap and water when it’s available.

What a great set!
A little bulky and heavy for those superlight backpackers but other than that these bowls are wonderful.large when expanded yet still stowable in a pack.Heat resistant.Easy to clean.I now have (2) sets...one for me and one for the GF.

Space saving, Great quality
Another great Sea to Summit product. All the pieces nest and it all collapses to about the thickness of a legal pad. Fantastic for saving space. A little heavier than I expected for backpacking but still doable. Great for car or bike camping. Having the base serve as a cutting board is an added bonus!

Significantly better than similar products
This set is more expensive than similar sets but well worth it in my opinion. It packs down incredibly small, and I highly appreciate the cutting board bottoms on the bowl and plate. Also appreciate the measurement markings inside the cup, that it an often overlooked aspect of camping (or especially backpacking) prep, how you’re going to measure the water for your food. Highly recommend

Does the job and saves a lot of space
I have used this set a couple of times now (along with the separately purchased plate by Sea to Summit). While I cannot yet comment on durability, I have not had the problem cleaning them that some others have commented on. They fold out easily and keep their shape while being used. The also fold down flat easily. I really like having this set because I can pack everything else in the lower section of my pack where I keep the "kitchen" stuff, and then put this set, inside the middle of the plate, flat against everything else and then zip up the flap. I'm very into light, easy to pack, innovative, and useful and this set and the plate meet all of those. Only wish they had a set with all three and the cover to keep them together. I bought this set for the flat and form-fitting cover to keep at least two of the three items together.

Love these
I love these so much, I'm really thinking about buying another set. Initially, I was going to purchase each item separately to save money (yes, they're cheaper when you buy them separately). But, I decided to buy the set, to get the pouch. I'm glad I did, because you can put other items in there too, like napkins. I have a GSI Pinnacle Dualist cookware set, and they come with 2 telescopic sporks, and I put one of those sporks inside the case so I'll have a Mug, Bowl, Napkins, Spork all in one pouch. Also, if you're unable to wash the mug and bowl you can just wipe them out, then pop them back in the pouch and as soon as you're able to wash them you can wash all three, as the pouch is washable too :) So, I recommend buying the mug/bowl/storage pouch set if you were planning on purchasing both anyway.UPDATE: I'm over in Europe right now, and brought along my mug/bowl combo, and has served me well. I've been using it lately to eat cereal from. The place I'm staying only has China type fancy bowls that are really too large for cereal, so I use my X-bowl. Actually, there are many sea to summit products I brought along that I've been using, like the clothes line too. The Xbowl and mug are definetly something you would want to pack on any domestic or international trip. 5 stars all the way!
