I am currently typing on a machine that I have brought back to life with this Windows 7 disk. I have very limited knowledge on the subject, but I was able to install a new hard drive, boot 7 from this disk, access my secondary drive in order to get to a system Image I had made back on Feb. 3 of this year in order to rescue very important data my wife cherished. I am astounded, I am thankful to 7th and Vine.If you are not sure, if you are a little apprehensive, I suggest you go ahead and purchase this disk. It is getting impossible to find just a simple repair disk let a lone a bootable. Even if you decide not to do it yourself, whoever you have do it will definitely love you for having it handy.Just buy it.I have seen the less than enthusiastic reviews and I have come to seriously doubt them, this disk is EXACTLY as advertised, it contains all the tools that one looks for when one finds themselves in trying times such as these.Just try it. We purchased both disc because we didn’t know which one we needed because our system kept going in a loop and wouldn’t boot into safe mode. We tried the 32-Bit first and we got this error code, “ Error: "The subsystem needed to support the image type is not available". Well, guess what? I Googled what the problem was for this error code and this was the solution, “ This error occurs when a 32-bit program is run in the 64-bit WinPE or vice versa. Luckily we had the 64-Bit disc and when we put it in, VOILA!!!! This thing is amazing because now our system is up and running and we have full access!!! Thank you 😊

Received 2 disc, both were in Portuguese and even when given the option to select English, the repair and reinstall is mostly Portuguese. It did reboot, but wiped everything out so all files are lost. The only instructions were how to select the drive to read for reboot, Zero contact information to assist with the product use or issues. Unhappy camper….

I had my doubts, but worked as described, I will get more use out of my old computer,witch I love .

You know the song windows 7 to Windows 10 and back to Windows 7.🤣After installing Windows 10 it was a nightmare, the computer started to restart by it self, Windows 10 install was ok until I found out that my programs and files were lost, I was out of my mind going through the Microsoft help, YouTube videos but nothing worked. Well then I thought, no problema I just go back to Windows 7 ( all my important files were safe on a portable drive)I recovered windows 7 but it didn't open due to some hard drive problems. I felt I was in a dark room naked. Panic attack and all. After 3 days looking for HELP with friends and family, I found this set of DVDs, man I tell you I inserted the 64 bit and Walla, out of the blue screen my programs and files appeared it was better than a wet dream. If your pc is in an automatic repair loop, you can easily get to the System Recovery screen. At no cost to you. That screen gives you this menu: 1) Startup Repair, 2) System Restore,3) System Image Recovery ,4) windows Memory Diagnostic ,5) Command Promp. That menu is the same "repair" facility that these discs provide. True, they provide 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows 7, should you want to reinstall the OS. I don't, since I've got 3 functional Windows 7 hard drives , none of which wii boot, but which checked out ok otherwise. You may get effective relief from your problem by watching Youtube videos by Troublechute or Techmagnet. They go through the Command Prompt sequence that some users employed to achieve a successful fix. That procedure didn't fix my problem. Btw,the embedded-on-pc Startup Repair is said to be unsuccessful 9 of 10 times. I suspect the Command Prompt sequence is a better bet for the majority of people. These 2 discs don't provide a techsavvy , sophisticated repair method.
